My husband and I enjoyed our 5 year anniversary dinner at Bourbon Steak this past weekend and we were blown away. Not only was the food out of this world delicious, the service- from the front of the house, server, GM, expo, bussers- were all so personable and wonderful. Our server was Reega- she was so awesome! And Lyle- who I am assuming was the manager/GM, was fantastic too. He really sold us on the Ribeye steak sampler and educated us on American Vs Japanese Wagu.
Upon being seated we were greeted with complimented Prosecco for our anniversary which was so sweet and appreciated. We started with a half dozen oysters, delish, and a Caesar salad- which was the best Caesar I had ever had. The complimentary duck fat fry trio was so nice. Then came the Truffle buns. My. God. I wish I knew how to make those at home. Beyond tasty. Then we had the ribeye sampler which was out of this world. I’m not even a big steak person and this was the best meat I’ve ever had- my husband is a big steak guy and he said the same, the best he’s ever eaten. The truffle Mac and cheese was delicious too. The sauces for the steak were all equally amazing. Honestly there wasn’t one thing that we felt was lacking or mediocre- from the wagu to the bread rolls, everything was top notch and amazing.
We cannot wait to go back one day to celebrate. This is definitely our new favorite place to eat on special occasions.

The outdoor dining feels almost like a rea; break from Covid, and yet safe at the same time. The wait staff is mindful of not unnecessarily invading personal space, while at the same time attentive. I do like that there is no sign of plexiglass dividers outside, just ample space between tables. I'm not sure how or if they can pull this off when really cold or wet weather comes, but I feel certain they will do the best job they can.
Outstanding dining experience. Wish they kept the blackened cod on the menu from Stonehill Tavern but the steaks melt in your mouth.
Table outside was quite with fantastic sunset view! Food though not inexpensive, was week prepared, presented and excellent. Not lots of starter choices BUT free “fries with sauces” more than adequate before a main course! Highly recommended during this pandemic time for a “dinner night out”!
60th Birthday celebration for my husband and Bourbon Creek couldn’t have accommodated and fed us any better then they did! They knocked our sicks off with their menu and their wine list...phenomenal!! Thank you for a memorable evening!!
The atmosphere was first class, dining outdoors with a beautiful view. Chief complaint was the non responsivness of wait staff. We asked for bread to be brought to our table 4-5 different times before it came and we were damn near done eating when that happened. I'd like not to have that happen again. Would return again and again but for the astronomical pricing.

The duck fat fries were my favorite part of the meal. Had the fried chicken. Not what I expected, but good. Came with 2 sides, which was nice.

Just because you overprice items does not make them worthy of fine dining. French fries and ketchup as a gourmet starter?! Mac and cheese as a chef specialty?! Is this place catering to 5 year olds?
The food is uninspiring and simply overpriced as a reflection of the inflated egos of the owner and chef.
If you seek a true fine dining experience look elsewhere. If paying 300+ for an evening for two of french fries, mac and cheese, and small unseasoned steaks is your thing then go ahead and make reservations.

The best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. I would fly internationally to enjoy the lobster pot pie and the pork belly appetizer. Every aspect of the evening was perfection. Our sincere thanks to the chef & staff for making our experience so special!
Priced like a Michelin restaurant which it is not. Steak tartare & rolls the best. No new silverware between courses. $215 for Tomahawk steak + 2 sides ..the special. Meat was to be charred rare .. just rare and not mouth watering. Brussel sprouts overdressed.
Don't mind paying for great food ... but this was more than Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain and it's a 3 star Michelin restaurant!!!
Overall the food was good, however my husbands steak was over cooked. He ordered it medium rare and it came out a little over medium. The waiter tried to justify it. We are not new to the steak world to know exactly how a medium rare steak should be cooked. They try to up sell you on everything which is annoying so we ended up ordering way too much food and had to take it home. And the waiter brought out steak sauce to mask the mediocre steak. He ended up taking 50% off my husbands steak but the experience was already ruined. The Mac and cheese was good the Brussel sprouts were good, the bread was good and the fries were good we were just highly disappointed in the steak and how annoying the waiter was.
Service was terrible, food was just ok. We were filling our own wine glasses when empty and had to wait 20 minutes for water refills. Definitely not worth the high price tag. Could eat at any other local restaurant with much better service and half the price.
Best food ever. great service too. we stayed at Monarch Beach Resort so super convenient. my teens have been to many 5 star resturant’s around the world. he loved it so much that chef Chris came out for meeting . just a wonderful experience. head chef was so awesome visiting our table and talking to my son. 100% we will go again and highly recommend it.

I had the Delmonico Ribeye which was good but I ate more of my wife's steak (Wagyu Ribeye because they mixed up our doneness for our steaks. I wanted med. rare but got med. and my wife wanted med. but got med. rare). The Wagyu was fantastic and melted in my mouth (kind of felt like filet mignon) so needless to say we switched steaks. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and wanted to enjoy the beautiful sunset, however the fog rolled in at that time so our sunset view was very limited. Overall, a pleasant experience and delicious food. Many other couples there to celebrate their anniversary as we got started with 2 complimentary glasses of bubblies.
I celebrated my birthday. We each had the filet and it was excellent. The spacing in the restaurant perfect and everything was done in a safe manner. I would definitely feel safe dining here. The service was good and just the right amount of interaction.

Absolutely fantastic!! Worth every penny!!! I recommend the Mac-n-Cheese. Ysobel was our server and she was beyond great. In covid times my expectations seem to be very low when dining out however Bourbon Steak totally exceeded my expectations both with service and food! We will be back.

Service was actually great at outset and the salad and desert were good. The steaks were overcooked. They offered to cook new ones but we declined. After that we didn’t see much of anyone til we asked for desert menu. No one mentioned anything about the steaks to us after the initial complaint. That was disappointing given the price but if they had paid attention they And compted our $12.00 dessert. We would have left with a much more favorable feeling about them.

We really enjoy Bourbon Steak OC. Everyone is adjusting to COVID-19, and they are no exception. Maybe that's all it was. However, we had to wait nearly an hour after our reservation time for our table. Missing a reservation time by more than 15 minutes or so is inconsiderate (both for guests and for a restaurant), but it's especially bad during these times, when nobody wants to be hanging around somewhere unnecessarily. The manager said it was because people were staying at their tables longer than usual; however, our experience was that while our service was very good, it was slow--again, maybe because of the new safety protocols. In the end, as always, we enjoyed our meal, but they need to get the wait times sorted out.
Restaurant provided all the extra touches, french fries with 3 sauces, chocolates and take home carmel corn. Steak/crab oscar was excellent. Good experience.
It was our anniversary and we loved our dinner. Our entree came a little too long after our appetizers but it was the first week the restaurant opened since March. We were grateful to celebrate outside our home in a beautiful hotel.

The food experience was amazing. From the atmosphere, seating, attentive servers and hosts this place is a great way to celebrate a special occasion or a fine dining experience. So well thought out and meaning menu. Great night out.
Three meals a day times many decades of life means that very few meals are truly memorable. Our recent evening at Bourbon Steak made the very, very short list. It began with an anniversary card signed by the entire staff waiting for us at our table; a staff that couldn't possibly have been more appropriately attentive.
There were many extra touches -- a pre-dinner complementary Proseco, assorted tastings, and other pleasures -- that just complemented the night out.
Don't go here if you're in a hurry. The meal experience is designed to take place over time so that you can savor and enjoy each chapter (i.e. if you need bread on the table 90 seconds after your fanny hits the chair, head for Cracker Barrel...) and we took full advantage.
Everything is a la carte so you can design your meal accordingly, but the waitstaff is thrilled to go into as much detail as you'd like over your choices, and the pairings that they recommend. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.
The one caveat: all of this service and luxury comes at a steep price. Despite traveling pretty extensively both here and abroad, this was the most expensive meal we've ever eaten. That's why I couldn't give them "5"s across the board.
All in all, however, this was a dining experience we will never forget. If your wallet can take it, we both heartily recommend Bourbon Steak.
