Great atmosphere, great drinks and great food. Burger was fantastic

We absolutely loved everything about our restaurant week date night. We had the arancini, tempura shrimp, duck confit gnocchi, beef tenderloins, chocolate cake, and the adult milkshake. Everything was incredible, but the gnocchi and tempura shrimp were our top two. Along with the amazing food, we each had a sparkling flight that had a Prosecco, a champagne, and a sparkling rosè. The selections were delicious and complimented the dishes well. We will gladly go back.

It was excellent. The service was top notch and every entree and app we passed around because it was all so good. The whole group had to share. It was a wonderful night

So glad we went to check this place out. Everything was amazing! I will definitely be returning in the future.

First time at bourbon and bubbles and we were pleasantly surprised. Not knowing what to expect we were blown away with how great the food was, the excellent service and the ambiance. We’ll be back for sure

Food was amazing. Felt a bit rushed to hurry and eat since our server tried several times to take our different plates/courses before we were finished. We were just trying to enjoy our evening and not eat fast and leave. Husband was a little disappointed that there was not beer on tap and what was available in can was just basic beer.

We went with our family of 5 for Charleston Restaurant week and every meal and drink was spot on amazing. Thank you!!

The service was the worst. It took over 3 hours for dinner not because we were talking but because everything was a waiting game. Wait for drinks wait to order when we do get appetizers wait for napkins silverware after we have to ask for them wait on entrees which were served sporadically same with desserts and then we get to wait on checks. Assuming service was so bad because she knew she was getting 20% because of the size of the party. The finale was putting all the run checks in a pile on the table for the 6 of us to sort. Why was I not surprised that she lost my credit card which I had to take more time to call and cancel now wait for another one. Even though the food was good I will never return nor will I recommend to anyone.

Our dinner at Bourbon N Bubbles was fantastic! We hadn't even heard of them until we were checking out restaurant week deals. Service was great. We arrived about 10 mins prior to our reservation and sat at the bar for maybe 5 minutes until our table was ready. About 5 minutes after we sat down they asked if we minded moving a few tables over so they would sit a larger party as there was another empty table right next to us. We said no problem and they actually brought us both a glass of champagne as a thank you. We had the herb arancini and shrimp tempura as appetizers, ricotta gnocchi and pork medallions for main course, and death by chocolate cake and adult milkshake for dessert. Everything was so so good! My husband said it was the best, most tender pork medallions he had ever had. I think the tables are a little small, but they work for just an intimate party of 2.

Excellent food and drinks. It was a bit dark when trying to read the menu but the food and service made up for it. Drinks were pricey but not unexpected. Music was a bit loud and made it difficult at times to talk but once again the food and service made up for it.

We were seated in the bar area for dinner. The shrimp and grits was perfectly prepared and the sauce amazing with a little kick. The adult milkshake was amazing served in a champagne flute with a hit of bourbon. Loved this place and will definitely be returning.

We had a nice time - a great place for drinks! Great service, my only negative thought is that the food was a little pricey when there is lots of phenomenal competition in the area. Regardless, really nice date night, girls' night, or just after-work drink spot.

Shrimp tempora was amazing. Light batter, big shrimp. Loved the bourbon selections. Caitlin our server was alternative and knowledgeable. We will return.

We had our baby with us, and they were so accommodating, finding a spot where we could enjoy our date night.

We went here after dinner to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It wasn’t what we had expected. It was a small bar and the lighting was too dark. The bar stools have very low backs and aren’t overly comfortable. However, the drinks were good & the bartender was friendly. We took advantage of the 1/2 price flights,
Which was a great value. I would go again, but not at the top of my list.

What a wonderful restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the tempura. So crispy and such a lovely, bright sauce. I had the prosecco of the day and my husband had a fancy pour of bourbon. Our server Michael was excellent. The only problem was the outdoor seating, which is all we will consider during this time of Covid. The traffic was loud, the table was small, and homeless people came up and asked us for money. We were at Bistronomy recently, we liked their tent-type thing, not right on the street, better outside tables, and heaters. We DID love the food and the service at Bourbon and Bubbles!

Decent drinks with a good bourbon collection. Food was good, they were able to make changes for allergies. Outside patio seating which was pet friendly.

It was my daughter’s birthday, the service was excellent, and the food and drinks were delicious.

Made dinner reservations for my birthday, party of three. Was seated right by the door to eat dinner with people coming in and out of the restaurant - not COVID friendly. Furthermore, there were multiple empty tables in the back of the restaurant that weren’t utilized the length of our time at the restaurant (2 hours). None of the tables are social distanced. Service was mediocre. Food was plated on a plate too small to eat from without making a mess (tenderloin medallions). The food was amazing. No complaints there. Extremely disappointed in the service, mostly, to be a nicer restaurant.

The food is amazing. I would have preferred to sit In the back part of the restaurant but otherwise it was a great experience.

Great place to celebrate before my son’s wedding. We were there for happy hour, so drinks and light bites. Great ambiance and service.

Covid precautions were great. Food was delicious. Drinks were amazing.

Thanksgiving

This restaurant had very good reviews so I was excited to try it out during my stay in Charleston but honestly it has not met pur expectations... As soon as we sat down (I made a reservation the day before) the waitress suggested we’d have dinner in the restaurant next door as there was a 5$ burger deal 😳🤷🏻‍♀️. That was odd... but she probably had good intentions as we were with our son and she might have thought we all wanted to have a cheap burger...
The food we ordered was ok but below average considering the other restaurants we went to in the days before in the same area. And it was sooo loud. There was a party celebrating, and celebrating, and celebrating... it was really disturbing.
So, unfortunately, not a great experience for us that night.

Excellent service - our waiter was Jordan. Delicious cocktails - worth 15-16$. Food was delicious. Great ambiance. Would recommend for date night or special occasion! Fun girls night!

There are a lot of choices for dining in Charleston - this would not be at the top of my list when I come back. The atmosphere is nice - more modern. If you are just looking for a drink, definitely drop by. if you are looking for historic vibes, quaint and excellent food - I would look elsewhere for meal options.

I ordered the Steak Frites medium. Good thing I was real hungry and could have eaten shoe leather...because I did. To their credit, they did not charge me. Seems like this is more of bar scene than a restaurant.

Had a lovely time here last night! Staff was so welcoming and accommodating for my birthday get-together. Even brought me a sparkler to take pictures and celebratory bubbly!! 🍾🍾 Would definitely come back...
