Botonica is a cocktail bar that celebrates the rich & diverse cultures of Latin America through spirits, cocktails, wine, and bites. Owned and operated by award winning bartender Alexis Mijares. Our menu focuses on celebrating flavor and the exploration of Latin spirits including tequila, mezcal, pisco, rum, and more!     Fabulous new cocktail bar with amazing drinks! So glad to have a place like this in Houston. The owner is amazing and the cocktails are unique and fantastic! This will be a regular spot for us!

    “Gothic Barbie Dream House” is the vibe (the owner’s words, reportedly, not mine but I wish I had thought of it). I loved everything about this spot! Very tasty cocktails and food. Friendly staff. Gorgeous spot. Plenty of street parking.

    Just had the best friend date yesterday at this cozy spot! The ambience was perfect—dim lighting that made it feel intimate and relaxed, with fresh plants all around adding a really calming vibe. It was ideal for good conversation without any distractions. The service was truly a vibe. Both the bartender and our waitress were incredibly personable and welcoming. They didn’t just serve us—they actually became part of our experience, even joining in on our conversation in the most natural and fun way. The bartender especially stood out, crafting drinks that aren’t even on the menu yet but are coming soon. Each one was creative, delicious, and made us feel like VIPs. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill, beautiful setting with amazing service and even better drinks.

    All the cocktails were phenomenal and fun. The small bits were delicious and the service is stellar. Hard to believe they just opened because everything flowed so well and the drinks came out super fast. Thanks again!

    We had an amazing experience at the Botonica! The food, the drinks, the service, and the small details in the decor all played together to create this beautiful experience. I can’t wait to come back and I will be recommending everyone to come here! One of my favorites was the food! It was sooo flavorful and delicious, every bite we tried was that way!
