I think this was the best meal I ever had. The prix fixe lets you get any combo 4-6 courses, and each course was an ADVENTURE. Like flavors I didn't know could go together but combined beautifully. Service was also amazing and the ambiance was gorgeous. All in all amazing experience.
Wonderful meal. Amazingly creative food. We loved everything about Bosq. The only thing I would say is to allow for a long evening. It’s intentional but the courses arrive slowly. Just relax and enjoy it.
Superb! Aspen has many fine restaurants, but Bosq takes it to a whole new dining experience. Great ambiance, wonderful service, nice timing, amazing food delivered with creative artistry, and perfect wine pairing. While some Aspen dining establishments have sadly lost the importance of a welcoming environment, Bosq excels at offering a genuine warmth and focus to their patrons. Highly recommend Bosq!
Most imaginative food in Aspen!
Carefully constructed dishes, some adventurous, others long time favorites. Nice intimate ambiance. Friendly staff. A treat!
First off, we are accustomed to a fabulous culinary experience being from Charleston, SC. We don't mind spending a large amount of money for a fabulous meal. The food at Bosq was nice, but not exquisite. The ambiance was great and the restaurant was very quaint, but for the price, the food was lacking. I was told that their vegetarian options were comparable to that of the standard menu, but that was not the case. My entree consisted of warmed greens and peas. My husband enjoyed his dish, but said that the lamb was very fatty. Overall, the meal was nice, but it was too pricy for the food that we received. The service was impeccable, the food was good--not great--, and the ambiance was very romantic. We were pleased over-all.
The restaurant claims to be very accommodating and inventive for vegetarian guests. This was not the case (farro was a substitute for a venison dish). Tasting menu was horrendously overpriced, and service was discombobulated. Would suggest many better restaurants in aspen for significantly less money.
We're extremely apologetic for the unimpressive evening. This is not the norm. We always try to go above and beyond for our vegetarian guests as our menu is pretty veggie forward and I'm sorry that we missed the mark. Please accept my deepest apology for the service feeling discombobulated. We had a strong discussion this evening about that and feel terrible for an off night. Pretentious foodie food but only some dishes rocked while others missed the mark. When spending $190 a person for a 7 course meal you expect a little extra and the restaurant did not deliver. No amuse bouche or end of meal treats or anything extra beyond the standard menu. Skip the 7 course meal, pick the 4 or 5 and share lots of different items. Skip the duck, lobster, venison, and the forest desert. Go for the eggplant, lamb dishes, Carmel pudding, oysters, and the most amazing thing on the menu the portobello. Worth a visit if this is your thing.
Usually BOSQ is our favorite place to take our out of town guests and to just go eat - I think Covid must be taking its toll

The ambience was nice due to the attractive decor and only 5 tables and attentive wait staff. However, the New York steak I was served was completely.inedible. It was tough and fatty and considering the fixed price of $130 before drinks this is not a mistake Bosq can afford to make. I do not recommend.
One dish to call out is the lobster starter, everything else was pretty good but nothing to write home about. The wine pairing was delicious though - major props there! As for service, they were very kind. But we didn't have enough time for our cocktail before our first dishes and wine pairing came out - it was all too rushed. The space is very small - FYI. But they do have an outdoor fire that is a nice waiting spot.

Delicious food, Great attentive service! We adore the duck (order ahead of time). We had some new items on the menu and really enjoyed them. This is one of our favorite “go to”places in Aspen.
Christmas Eve dinner
Justin did an amazing job of taking care of us at our bar seating. What a great place to dine and enjoy a Saturday night. The menu is international and combine local ingredients with creative international twists. But more importantly it is good.
We found the service good and the food good but not great. For the prices and small menu, we were expecting a lot more. The bathroom was a fun surprise (if you've been there in fall, you'll know what I mean), and unfortunately probably the most memorable part of our visit.
-Steak tartare - innovative but not the best or even second best I've had based on the quality of the meat itself. Steak tartare is something that should shine on it's own based on the quality of the meat with even a fairly simple preparation (in my opinion). The steak was the least favorable part of this dish - all the other flavors (aioli, cracker) were good and essentially helped cover the mediocre steak. For some reason it didn't taste as fresh as steak tartare usually does.
-Duck - for $60 we were expecting something better(?) The crispy skin and sauce were great, but we had pieces that were unevenly cooked and again - good but not GREAT. An expertly prepared, signature dish is something I'd be happy to pay for.. but for a simple $60 entrée without much else to it, we expected to be blown away and were not.
-Chanterelles - beautiful to look at, decent flavors but the grilled turnips were easily the best part of the dish. Could have eaten a plate full of those! And loved that the chef included the stems - delicious.
-Chicken - again, okay. Well cooked on the outside but uneven and sometimes chewy on the inside. My favorite part were the grapes. Whimsical and delicious.
Great dinner, eggplant & Peking Duck highly recommended.
Bit noisy but because of other loud diners. Some items over priced. Most things delish. Duck and butterscotch pudding so worth it!

The food is very healthy. My palate did not enjoy some of the combinations of flavors.
I love their mission, but just didn't really enjoy what I chose for dinner.
Creative dishes—some stood out above the rest. Salmon crackers really are a beautiful treat to the eyes and to the palette. Crispy eggplant paired nicely with Peking Duck as well. Some faults: ordered an appetizer that never showed up to the table yet still found its way on to our bill. Waiter never checked in after main courses were delivered so never could inquire about the missed appetizer and steak was cooked well beyond requested temperature. Reserved a patio table and the hostess initially had us placed inside. Really a nice setting, no matter the shortcomings. Server was quite nice but clearly his attention was placed elsewhere on this night. Happened to be celebrating our anniversary which was noted with the reservation but never acknowledged. May return but it’d take a lot to skip over the many special things happening elsewhere in other Aspen kitchens.
I’ve eaten at many amazing restaurants and this was, hands down, the best meal I’ve ever had. We started with chanterelles and then had the salmon and duck entrees. We finished the meal with a tasting of pappys. The staff and chef were really nice. If you’re in aspen get a reservation!!

We had a lively dinner on the patio at Bosq. We had the crispy mushrooms and salmon on crackers to start. Both were so delicious. For dinner we had the chicken and the salmon. Both were uniquely flavored and beautifully presented. The service was great too. Can’t wait to go back!

food wasn’t great. we asked for bread with our entree. they brought out a frozen baguette that was inedible and charged us $4. we got the duck which our waitress said people come just for that- it was below average. incredibly over priced and nothing special. won’t be back!

Food portion was very small (we ordered the street zucchini and the king crab ceviche) and presentation was unimaginative. Very expensive considering the quality and quantity of food. Our server was cold and inattentive. The only thing this place has going is the patio ambience. Won’t go again.
