The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

                                                                          the charcuterie board was awesome, steak and potatoes awesome. brocolini yuck and Mac and cheese also yuck. service was exceptionaly slow . The table was really small. had a hard time accommodating the food we ordered, crunched next to people on the left and right which really sucks for such a nice and expensive place. worst type of seating you can get in a restaurant. they sat us about ten minutes after our reservation time.

                                                                          The servers were amazing. The food. Drinks and desserts were delicious. Just one mistake there was a hair in my rib eye steak and it was under the steak so it came from someone in the kitchen

                                                                          We came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. There was a nice touch of an anniversary card. We ordered cesear salad (which in my opinion for $25 we should have gotten more than 8 leaves of lettuce)…. blue cheese crusted filet, dry aged Ribeye, Mac and cheese and the broccolini. Everything was delicious! The server seemed uptight and first but we got him some personality by the end. Over all great experience. Thank you for a fabulous dinner!

                                                                          Best service delivering some of the most succulent food in San Diego. Steak Diane is awesome for two people. The appetizers are fantastic as well as desserts that are so pretty. One dose not know whether to eat them or take pictures of them.

                                                                          The food was good; however, I expected it to be exceptional based on the price. The service and ambiance were great. I would not recommend based on the value. There are lots of similar restaurants in the downtown & Little Italy area that have exceptional food at better values.

                                                                          Wow! This place was phenomenal. The service and food were fantastic. We had the crudo, oysters Rockefeller, stea sampler along with the Mac n cheese, broccolini and dirty hash brown. All were amazing, It was our anniversary so they even gave us a sweet card and dessert. What made the experience was the top notch service. Our waiters Chris and Adrian were phenomenal. Adrian was so polite and kind. Always ensured our waters were filled and we had everything we needed. Chris gave amazing drink and food recommendations and was wonderful at making us feel special.
