The tapas lunch was excellent. The wine recommendation was very nice as well.
Great addition to the neighborhood. Calamari was excellent. We had several vegetarian dishes, which were very good, esp. the brussels sprouts. Crema catalan was delicious. It was comfortable to converse, though I wish restaurants would choose music that doesn't have a throbbing bass.
Went for my wife’s birthday and it was great, exactly what we were wanting. Service was top notch and food was amazing! We got about five tapas and paella for four people was great. Sangria was very good. Would recommend and we plan to go back.
We sat at the back of the restaurant which was nice. We were able to see the kitchen in action. The food tasted really good. Almost as good as some of the restaurants in Seville, Spain.
We had the weekend “Bottomless Brunch”. None of the tapas were bad, but we really enjoyed about half of them. That’s the whole purpose since you reorder any of the tapas you want. It also includes bottomless sangrias and mimosas. Service was very efficient and we’re definitely going back.
Great food, fun drinks and attentive staff. I love the atmosphere, especially the round tables up front.
It was great
Excellent! Loved the croquetas and churros!
Overall good. We had the hanger steak with piquillo peppers which was delicious. We had the patatas which were just ok. We also the gambas which were super oily and lacked flavor. We finished it off with some churros, our server made the suggestion of getting a mix of dulce de leche and Nutella churros. They were amazing. Our server was efficient and attentive without being intrusive. We would probably come back and try other items on the menu.
Great for a group of friends or for a date night. Wonderful food and atmosphere.
Excellent food. A bit expensive but expected given the location. Def one of my favorite DC restaurants.
The bottomless brunch was ok. Nothing impressive. Worse was to get charged extra for a Latte, and after the server presented the bill not included but added to the total credit card charge... and the latte was $16 😳.
The steak and oxtail were excellent. Didn’t enjoy the sweet potatoes (very bland), brussel sprouts (oily and bland) and churros with nutella (very oil).
Wonderful food and service, quick, charming place and very professional chef!
Food took a long time and the octopus was not well-cooked.
A really nice lunch and good value. Tasty! Chicken was tender, salad nice and light and papas braves a guilty pleasure.
There was hair in my croquettas and out of oxtail :(
Get the paella de mariscos
Great fun experience!! The Sunday brunch is such a good deal that you would be stupid to pass it up!
What a great find. We had a wonderful evening of sharing outstanding tapas. The service was spot on. Next time in DC I will add it to my list of top locations to meet colleagues
Food was excellent, especially the hanger steak which can't be beat.
It was really fabulous. The one drawback was that we were on our way to the hockey game, and we couldn’t get our server’s attention to keep things moving more quickly to get to the game on time.
Host staff was so accommodating of our large group reservation, and our waitress (Pina) was excellent and so sweet.
I’d rather recommend Boqueria near DuPont Circle, probably same quality food but much better service.
Birthday brunch and service was very patient with us and very timely. Such a great variety of food and we tried almost everything on the menu. Delicious!
Boqueria is a great spot for authentic Spanish cuisine. Our 2-hour lunch lasted for 3 1/2! The experience is made richer by trying the tapas with typical Spanish (less American) ingredients, such as pulpo and boquerones. Delightful experience, but we all ate way too much.
Sat away from the bar so it was fine for conversation. Service was great with good recommendations of what to try. Loved their version of a Manhattan, the cheese plate and the cauliflower were particularly awesome
Second time I've visited the restaurant. The server was wonderful, I'm sorry I did not get her name, very helpful and there when we needed something, kept her eye on things but not obtrusive. The food is good I had the serrano ham sandwich, my partner had the Barcelona Bowl. I've had that bowl previously and love it, the sandwich is good but a little more filling a little less bread would be my recommendation, I couldn't taste any cheese but there was supposed to be some. Taking it apart I didn't really see any cheese either. The accompanying PATATAS BRAVAS were quite good. Overall, I like this restaurant, I'd go for the tapas next time, I had order envy seeing what the tables around us were receiving.
Great time. Made reservation 5:30 before an event, seated immediately. Server was very polite and didn't rush us. He was right on time every time. We had small plates, anchovies, croquettes & tomate bread. Dessert was a Delicious Churro with nice little cup of chocolate. YUM! selection of beers are can / bottle mostly Spanish, but it was a nice treat, speaking of treats try the espresso martini... it's cold and refreshing. You should really try this place, We will be going back...... Oh it was a Wednesday night. So we shall see next time but for now 2 thumbs up...
My son and I ordered 2 dishes each plus shared the medium paella. It was more than enough food. Excellent quality. We didn't have drinks this time, but total of 5 dishes came to $120. So don't expect it to be cheap, but we were prepared for that and will likely return.
Our server was amazing! Great food and great service!
Fabulous tapas - the roasted chicken is amazing, as was everything else we tried. Our server was friendly and helpful. A great place for lunch.
Love most of the tapas we got for dinner. We also got a pitcher of the Blood Orange tequila drink which was amazing. Happy Hour was packed and service wasn’t great initially but once we snagged seat, it was infinitely better.
Pricey but good. Chairs are extremely uncomfortable.
This is my new favorite place! Try the warm sangria...it's perfect for the winter!!!
Great location. Wonderful food. Lovely service. What more could you want?
Service was slow and our server wasn’t around very much.
We had a great experience. The food was great and the portions generous.
Pina and the rest of the staff were amazing, and made our girls’ catch-up brunch a total success.
Really enjoyed the bottomless brunch.
