Very good service; not an overwhelming menu- easy to navigate.
Food took over 40 minutes after ordering. The last two times I when there, they didn’t have something I ordered. Finally, 2 of our meals had no seasoning. Has really gone downhill over the last two years.
Perfect. No issues. Great food and service
Everything about this dining experience was excellent. Gr8 waitress, cold beer and food was as good as it gets.
Food was cold, chicken was not cooked enough, chicken meat was red inside and very tuff. Baked potato was cold inside and the butter wouldn’t even melt when preparing the potato. I would not recommend this place and I won’t be going there again.
Excellent food and drinks!
Great service. It was super busy and the staff was struggling a bit to seat people. Understandable. The food was great. Had the Prime Rib and it was perfectly prepared. Overall great experience.
The wait staff was initially very engaged and responsive, then we ordered our dinner and it all went down hill. After a lengthy period, we noticed the table getting served their meal, ahead of our soup and salad. Shortly after, wait staff was about to deliver our meal, only to be headed off by our waitress who knew we hadn't received our soup and salad yet. People make mistakes and the store was busy, but its never fun when everything that can go wrong, goes south. Not much of an apology and when the manager walked through to check on his customers, he should have known to apologize and should have offered to pay for something. We won't go back.
We’ve gone to Bonfire for years, and feel like it’s slipping. Our server was great but stretched too thin so overall things took too long. Food was OK but they’ve taken some old favorites off the menu. Not our first choice in the area.
I have been to Bonfire Savage many times, always have a good experience up till Friday evening.
ordered the fish fry, TERRIBLE worst I have ever had, couldn't finish it.
Shrimp andFish pretty much inside of a doughnut material, greasy, oily
bad bad bad
The beer-battered cod, and walleye and shrimp (decent-sized) were all really tasty, and the fries were crispy and hot.
Our server was great, but that was about it. Pretty small portions for the $$ and just okay in flavor. Not sure that I would return :(
Coffee was cold and food was burned.
The food has been getting worse every time. Probably the last time I eat there.
Our server was Jodi. She was very pleasant and attentive during our visit.
Good quality seems to be going downhill.
Great local spot for dinner and drinks. Food and service always good plus i like all the daily specials.
New Year’s Eve
Absolutely horrible. Took over an hour for our food. The food was not good. Steak was awful full of fat. Will never return
Slow service on New Year’s Eve possibly due to the fact they were busy. But the food was marginal at best. The salmon fillet on my salmon Caesar salad was so dry I could not even eat it. To their credit, they replaced the fillet but it Arrived at the end of our meal, had no flavor, and was still dry. Very disappointing. The drinks were weak too.
We just didn’t get much for service and all our meals were below average.
Bonfire provides a great experience and gift cards from Costco are a great deal 75/100.
We live close to the area and strongly recommend to taste their appetizers, meals and desserts. I would be careful to order drinks since their bartenders are slow as molasses. Try to order your drinks way ahead of time or you will find yourself enjoying water for a while.
We sat at the bar to order appetizers with drinks before heading to play at the Escape Room. All went well but the timing to get drinks and water refills. The bar seatings were in their 70% and the rest of the property probably 40-50; patio closed during winter time. The bartenders were not busy at all. They were just distracted and lazy. There were two: a guy in his late 50 who seemed trying his hardest but overwhelm and a guy in his mid 30 who avoided eye contact with customers who were waving hands to catch his attention. Bar sink was piled was dirty cups and glasses. I recall Darius managing that area completely full and having it under control.
We hadn’t went for quite a while, so we decided to go. Most of the food was very disappointing this time! We ordered the pickle/cheese curds for an appetizer. It came AFTER the main meal and the cheese curds were cold in the middle! The 3 cheese sausage pizza was mediocre and the crust was not crunchy. The burgers were ok. The only thing that was really good was the shrimp pot. We used to love the food at Bonfire, but were really disappointed this time.
We had reservations. When we arrived, we waited 15 mins for someone to check us in. I told him we had reservations and to please record it so Open Table wouldn't ding me. I asked twice before he actually did so. Service was terrible slow and the restaurant was not very busy. Food was just okay. Not impressed.
We were there for the "Brunch with Santa". I am not a fan of buffets, and this one was typical, nothing special especially for the price. However, I know that their regular menu is very nice, and will return just for that next time.
Very disappointed in change of menu. No queso and chips. Food came out barely warm. Much better restaurant options in the area.
We waited quite a while for even a drink order. We got our food quickly but steaks were very tough. Waited a long time for our check and return of change.
The chicken was overcooked and tough. Not at all what had previously experienced
We had a nice dinner. Relatively quiet for a sports bar.
Salmon with mashed potatoes - not good. The mashed potatoes were dry (had to ask for butter to moisten them) and the salmon was covered with a thick syrup that made it sticky, as well as being overcooked & dry. We hadn't been there for two years, and that last time the food and the service were both bad - so I think they still need to work on their menu and the food preparation - it really is not a good restaurant.
Good bonfire building, food was ok but nothing that I could say impressive for the money. Fire grill food is good like wings.
The food was very good as usual. The three beer drinkers were disappointed that, after discussion among ourselves, the beers we chose were not available although on the menu.
Had the fish and chips. French fries were under done. Fish had too much batter. Menu has changed. Seems there is more emphasis on the bar crowd than the dinner crowd. They formerly had the best walleye in town served as an entrée both at lunch and dinner. They still have it on the dinner menu but at a higher price. Overall, I was very disappointed.
I had the parmesan crusted walleye. It was delicious!
Food was generally very good, I enjoy Bonfire, but the french fries were so salty I could only eat a few. I had made a mention to the waitress about it and she said nothing.
I would not recommend based on my meal and the meals of my family. Very bland/blah. No personality in the food. For example, I had the walleye tacos. Two tortillas, tomatoes, lettuce and maybe onions and chunk walleye. No sauce, no seasoning, just blah. Dry and unenjoyable.
Our server was so sweet & talkative (but I liked it!) I had a friend from out of town and we had a wonderful time! I originally had reservations for 630 and you changed them @ the drop of a hat Food is ALWAYS amazing!
First time visiting, looking forward to coming back
We have eaten here before several years ago when we were in town which is why I selected it again. The only thing that disappointed me was my own meal. I ordered a prime rib and it came out first which is wonderful. However, that meat, the potatoes and the vegetable were all stone cold. I had to send it back and my replacement came after everyone else got their meal. They’re replacing all is fine, but that should not of happened. The service was good and we had a good waitress. Cold dinner kind of turned me off.
Come prepared to be disappointed. I don't know what it will take for management and cooking staff to get it. We vowed to stop coming here for food, as we almost always complain and send something back. This time it was the baked potato. It must have sat in a microwave for ten minutes or under a heat lamp for thirty. We sent it back and they brought out a beautiful bake potato to go along with our rotisserie chicken. Here's the deal..why doesn't someone...the cook, the waitress, the manager..someone stop crappy food from hitting the table. It was visible? Oh well, The Crooked Pint is hopping and it's where we will spend our money from now on. Good luck!
