As always Bones never disappoints. We had an excellent birthday dinner for two guys who have been great friends since September 1965. For the four of us, this place, the food, the service, and the setting are the best.
From beginning to end, our experience was amazing! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was top notch! Our server Steve was very professional, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely return!
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to and definitely the best steak I have ever eaten.
It was a fun experience.
It was not the experience that I was expecting. We went for a special occasion and it wasn't as nice as described by others.
The food was amazing -especially the truffled mashed potatoes - and the service was flawless!
Great meal with outstanding service!
What a lovely lunch with an
old friend. Attentive but not annoying service and delicious food. Server had a great sense of humor, always a plus.
Awesome as always
Very good food, however I think they cook their steaks over a flame rather than a skillet and would have preferred the latter - or at least be given a choice. Not a fan of excellent steaks tasting like charcoal. Sides were also excellent, but the portions were massive for a table of 2.
Great night out. I only wish the restaurant would let customers know about parking. Nothing on the website. I had to call to ask about valet. Also, it's safer for customers to approach the restaurant from the north (traveling south on Piedmont), since the entrance to valet is blocked by medium if coming from the south (traveling north on Piedmont).
Amazing customer experience! Everything down to the last detail is thoughtful planned and executed!
Lane was fantastic!
Service and food were excellent as always.
We celebrated our son's 40th birthday at Bones on Sunday, December 9, 2018. It was WONDERFUL! Absolutely over the top. There were six of us in a small room downstairs. It was decorated with balloons and table decorations. The food and wine were EXCELLENT! Bones is the BEST restaurant in Atlanta!
been going here for years! consistantly very good food and service!
I have been going to Bones for over 10yrs now; it has always been an amazing experience but not this time. It was my parents 40th Wedding anniversary, so the entire family including my 2 daughters went.
First off, even though I informed them that we would be celebrating this monumental anniversary and we had 2 children, they sat us downstairs next to the service station where we constantly had to "move out of the way". Mind you, the restaurant was MOSTLY EMPTY.
Second, my 7 month old was sleeping for most of the meal and my 3yr old is very well behaved; except for a few raucous laughs from my 3yr old (there was laughter and loud conversation going on around us from other tables). And yet, someone slipped my husband a handwritten note saying we need to mind the volume of our children. I have never been so offended in my life. What an insult especially since there was NOTHING loud happening from my children.
If you want to celebrate something special as a family DO NOT PATRONIZE BONES! They are rude and do not respect families.
The waitstaff was fantastic and of course the food was amazing but none of that matters as they RUINED our family dinner and tainted my parents 40th wedding anniversary forever.
Awesome food and service. What you would expect from an Atlanta icon like Bones.
Love this place and loved our waiter! Very good food and a nice place to eat
Great place for a birthday celebration! They decorated the table and brought out an amazing slice of ice cream cake. Entrees were very good too!
Been over 20 years since we have dined at Bones (moved away from the area). Bones still has got to be on of my favorite restaurants of Atlanta. Celebrated anniversary with the family - such a wonderful meal!!!!! Worth the drive, money, and time!!!!
Bones is second to none. Great service, friendly staff and great food.
I have been going to Bones for over 20 years and have always loved it. Not tonight! Wait staff was horrible to say the least. Bones has lost a once very loyal customer.
Always excellent food and excellent service. A goto for me whenever I have a business meeting in Atlanta / Buckhead.
Excellent food with cordial service!!!
Will go again...
This place is the definition of "you get what you pay for". Finest steak house in the Atlanta area and so old school.
Met my expectations in all categories.
Service, decor, food all excellent. Best blue cheese wedge salad ever with smoked pork belly garnish.
All ate the porterhouse cooked to medium rare. Wine list is extensive. Expensive but we knew this coming in.
Will definitely try to come back when visiting Atlanta.
Cocktail, porterhouse, 1/2 salad, and wine about $130 with tip.
I personally like the main dining. I thin the hallway or back room is too claustrophobic and better for wine storage and not tables. Everything else was great
Fantastic! Will be back!
Always great service and excellent food! This evening was no difference and they were especially kind for my Mother's birthday!!
Outstanding bar staff. Nice to see familiar faces. Very accommodating. Worked us in on a very busy evening. Best porterhouse in town. Love the place.
Always exceptional, Atlanta’s most iconic for many, many years! No comparison!
We always enjoy dining at Bone's when in Atlanta for Alabama football events. These yearly events also coincide with my husband's birthday in November. We love the service, the food, the wine, the place.
Ambience was lovely, Christmas decorations were beautiful.
We were seated immediately upon arrival.
Server was Mark and he was wonderful when he took our order but that was the last time we saw him. He was busy with a table of 7 and then another table if 6.
Paul saved our day and meal. He served our food and did check on us. He also provided us with a piece of cake to celebrate a birthday.
If Paul hadn’t stepped up to save the day I would have recommended two women traveling alone should not visit Bones as apparently we were only a two top and might not tip very well.
Ask for Paul if you are not a couple
Food was delicious
Celebrate Alabama winning SEC Championship!
We had a sweet and delicious dinner with our son . Each and every person was kind and embraced our family with kindness and professionalism.
Great atmosphere and local history at Bones. Fine dining experience and excellent staff. But after two "date nights" - once 2 years ago, and once more this week - I don't expect to return. Food quality just didn't live up to expectations or the high price tag. Multiple dishes were way oversalted. Undercooked risotto and filet mignon. Uninspired potatoes and brussel sprouts. There are lots of good, friendly people working there. I take no pleasure in giving so-so review. But for $250-300 for a full course dinner for two, I would like to be "wowed." Didn't happen for us either time foodwise, although most everything else was topnotch.
Excellent service from Eddie, our server. Bones' Wednesday 2-course special is a must for business-lunches.
Traditional neighborhood steakhouse..... good food and great service.... outstanding wine list.
