Dinner: Sunday - Saturday: 5:30pm - 10:00pm
Had dinner at Bones this evening for the first time, and my wife and I were not disappointed. I was happy to see that they had a 14oz bone-in filet, which we both ordered, and they were cooked to perfection. Service was great, and the atmosphere was classic steak house.
Bones is tops in food, service, and ambience. (We always ask to be seated in the charming Wine Galley.) It's one of the few restaurants in Atlanta where you can actually carry on a conversation during your meal. We ordered the lobster bisque, Bones salad, and onion rings. My husband had a filet and I a lobster tail. All were, as usual, delicious! Another nice thing about Bones is that they appreciate your business. This is our go-to special occasion restaurant, but I don't know why we don't go more often.
Bones is my favorite steak restaurant in Atlanta. Excellent in every category. Can’t say enough about this place!
Every great atmosphere, and the waiter was fabulous , very attentive.
Best food, friendly service a great place to have a meal with anybody important to you.
The Waiters were very helpful and attentive. Our Entrees were delectable and the Complimentary mountain cake was out of this World!!! I am "Sooooo" glad that my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. We were So Excited & Pleased about our Mountain High Pie until we forgot to get our "Take-Out" bags from our Entrees. LOL!
Our “go to” spot when we return to Atlanta, either when I eat at the bar with Mark and Tos or with my wife in the dining room. A steak house that does salads and sizes as well as they do steak!
Best Steakhouse in Atlanta Worth the price Service is outstanding
Bones is always reliable -- great service, food and ambiance. It's still my favorite steak restaurant in Atlanta!
Bones .... I’m a native Atlantans.... I’ve been going for years. It never disappoints!
Very formal eating establishment. The steak was great and the sides especially the collard green with Bones', Bacon was excellent. Good restaurant for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries because of the high cost. I will go back again because of the quality of the food.
Everything is so good but the service Is simply at another level.
Excellent service at bar and table. Wine list and Steaks are the best!
Great service start to finish from the valet service to the waitstaff. Great food and wine list. Bones was full, but they way they have the tables laid out is not jammed. Plenty of space and great for conversation.
Our meal was exceptional. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Again the steak was by far one of the best ever. Drinks were also great. A must in Atlanta.
Bones is delicious. I enjoy coming here for my birthday. It is cozy and romantic and the service makes a woman feel like a million bucks.
Bones is always a special occasion favorite. The food quality and preparation is consistently outstanding. The service is impeccable and I especially appreciate that your conversation isn’t constantly being interrupted by overly attentive staff. Still my favorite after many years!
Best in atlanta
You could not go wrong here with the service, food and quality. This is of course a premier stop in Atlanta and should be on your list for great steak, great wine and a fun evening. It was jammed on a Tuesday night so make reservations if you want to be seated before 10:00 PM
Bring your beet gal, best customer or new friend for a meal to remember.
We visit Atlanta several times per year for business. When time allows Bones is part of our dinner plan. Great service, well trained and informed staff, and the food is always exceptional. The wine list is expansive, and cocktails are prepared expertly. Bones is a real treat for employee or customer appreciation.
Sides were better than the steaks. We had a table of 3 and the service was fine just slow.
Outstanding food and service!
This is considered the best restaurant in the city by my wife and I
Oh Bones! What has happened to you? First off, my husband and I have been eating here for years. We love it. I've told many fellow steak lovers that Bones is tops and there's no equal. I have always loved this restaurant for its friendly, extremely knowledgeable waitstaff and exceptional food. This time, we did not have our usual sublime experience. The service was great, could not fault that. Two elements were off food-wise. One, crab cocktail portions. It was noticeably smaller than usual. Bones is not an experience for the cost-conscious so I was surprised by that. Skimping on portions is not okay. If the cost of crab has gone up, just charge more! I want the standard pile of velvety, ocean-tasting nuggets of crab. Second, our steaks were off and not cooked to order. Which to me, was huge. I ordered the 12 oz NY strip, which is what I usually order. I ordered it medium. It arrived medium-well with no crust or char on it. It was as though it was just pan fried stove top and cooked too long. It tasted as though I'd cooked it at home. I sent it back, something I've never done before at Bones, and the waiter was extremely apologetic. He not only replaced it quickly with a fresh steak but while I waited, treated me to some lovely pheasant sausage. Alas, the second steak had the nice salty char and crust but was well done, completely over cooked and on the dry side. Additionally, my husband's bone in filet was cooked medium-rare, when he requested medium plus (he did not send his back). We will definitely give Bones another shot, as we love it so, and truly hope they were just having an off night. However, having eaten there at least literally 12-15 times in the last decade, this was the first time I had ever had a poor food experience there.
Had a great time celebrating a birthday and anniversary. Staff aa always is attentive and efficient. Food and service was excellent.
Excellent as always.
Quite simply the best steakhouse in Atlanta, probably the US, and maybe the world. Splurge on the dry aged ribeye. Service is impeccable. Been going for about 30 years and hope to be going for 30 years more.
Maybe an off night, but arrive was just not up to par. Restaurant was not that busy (Tuesday night) and we could never figure who was the waiter. I get a team effort, but Bones is not a buffet. Food was good - not great. Will certainly try again, but disappointed with this visit.
After attending a family reunion at Lake Lanier, a friend and I wanted to treat my Mother and Brother to a very nice meal. Bones was perfect!! The free valet service was very courteous. Our waiters Eddie and Jason were outstanding, very attentive. The wine list was fantastic, and the food was out of this world. Overall it was a wonderful evening.
Wonderful evening at Bones with Family . Great steaks as always
I asked for a table to accommodate a lady with a cane on open table. With quiet sophistication from the maitre d’ , he sat us in the perfect place. Oustanding service from everyone! Excellent dinner, drinks, as always. Best restaurant in Buckhead!
We went to Bones this past Saturday night for my brother's birthday. The service and food were absolutely amazing. They set the table with decorations for his birthday and brought him the most amazing dessert that was enough for 4! Even if steak isn't your thing, the sides and other entrees are phenomenal! We had the hash browns which we thought was an odd side choice but it came with sour cream and caramelized onions that were to die for! The onion rings and corn pudding were also some kind of wonderful! For an appetizer we had the beef carpaccio which I order everywhere and this was by far the best I have ever had. Major props to this restaurant!!
Always great food, great service! Beyond exceptional.
Bones was delicious as usual. Their wine list is great. The meats were perfectly cooked, and the Bones salad is very tasty.
We had a first class experience at Bones. The service was amazing- top notch and very attentive. Steaks were cooked medium and were perfect. Expensive but you are getting a first class meal and service. They went out of our way to make us feel special and welcome. Overall a 5 star experience!
Ali"the General" and his partner Paul were outstanding in their suggestions of entrees and the Justin cabernet.
I didn't give food a 5 star because my braised beef and vegetables was a bit dry. My date's rib eye was excellent.
