Namaste! Taste the culinary vision of renowned chefs Jagmohan Jayara and CS Rawat. A perfect place to meet clients and co-workers! Great family dining!

Bombay Chopsticks by India House is based on dishes that are very popular in India and are becoming very popular in Chicago! Start with a Vegetarian Spring Roll or Sweet Corn Soup. For an entrée, “Jagmohan’s Favorite”, Kung Pao Chicken, is a crowd pleaser at many Chinese restaurants in Chicago and it’s very special at Bombay Chopsticks. Vegetarian dishes like Sa Po Vegetables and Tofu in Tangy Sauce are very popular!

Our dishes are spiced to order and served with un-paralleled service!

We've frequented this establishment over the years and have decided we won't go back. The portions are smaller than ever. The $19.95 jumbo shrimp consisted of 5 medium shrimp, which were more sauce than tandoori. The other dishes we equally small, which had been typical, but the the amount of protein in each (chicken and paneer, in the two cases in question) was considerably reduced. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was not overly busy. We had to ask for drinks, wave down the water for the check, etc. In short the experience has deteriorated over time, although the taste of the food remains good and authentic.

First as a service to my fellow OpenTable diners DO NOT BELIEVE THE MENUS ON OpenTable. Almost nothing on these menus is available at the restaurant. Of the food we did have, the paneer Hakka was very good. The orange chicken was terrible. My wife had the stir fry vegetables and they did not serve her anything that resembled the dish on the menu. And I am not talking about a picture I am talking about a description. I honestly felt bad for our waitress who was excellent and tried very hard. We drove an hour for this restaurant and have no intentions of EVER coming back. There is nothing fusion here and I honestly wouldn't or couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

I had read mixed reviews about this place, but we wanted to try it because the concept intrigued us. I'd say the best things about Bombay Chopsticks were the service and the atmosphere. Our server Victoria was delightful and I've never seen food delivered so quickly. And the decor is beautiful. As far as the food, I'd give it a B-minus. The appetizers were good. We had the chicken pot stickers and our son had the wonton soup. Then we had 3 other dishes: Mongolian Beef, Lobster in crab sauce, and Spicy Asian Shredded Chicken. They also brought rice and gave us refills when needed. The chicken was the best of all with a good amount of vegetables and a very flavorful sauce. The lobster was tender and delicious. The Mongolian Beef was okay but nothing special. We also ordered some Pina Coladas, which were very strong and very expensive (about $13) and they were obviously not made in a blender. There was no crushed ice at all; just a mix and alcohol and a few ice cubes. True they were strong, but still not worth it. At the end of the meal, the servers brought some free ice cream for my husband's birthday celebration and sang "Happy Birthday". It was a nice touch. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, but next time we want Chinese food, we'll probably go to a Chinese restaurant rather than this Indian take on Chinese cuisine.

One of the best Indo-Chinese restaurant in Chicagoland in terms of food and ambience. Authentic indo-Chinese food. Very good courteous and friendly service.

This is the best indo-Chinese in the Midwest hands down . Each dish has its own flavor and character.

Service is a little slow. Its not the pure Indo-Chinese food as its supposed to be. The Manchow soup is completely wrong. Also, very small quantities for a high price. Its not a Michelin Rated chef restaurant. So need for such extreme pricing.
