About this restaurant

Boma Green is our second instalment on the ever popular circuit of Parsons Green. We are carrying on our legacy of seasonal food paired with an extensive handpicked wine list offering some fresh new dishes and a diverse cocktail menu.

Parsons Green in our view was lacking a good bar where you could get an afterwork drink without going into a pub as well as an exciting menu that cannot be found in the area. We have taken what we have learnt from our first few years down the road at Boma Wandsworth Bridge Road and applied it to Boma Green.

Our ever changing cocktail list that has classics and innovations to satisfy every pallet and our trained baristas offer some of the best coffee in south west London with a take away option available.

Initial greeting was dour and uninterested. Steak was very sinewy. Dessert was lovely. Bar got busy with Chelsea types later.

Such a lovely place to spend a few hours, very relaxed unlike a lot of the brunch restaurants around which squash you in. Very dog friendly in the bar area. Will be back.

Thought the menu showed good variation, however the corncakes were a little disappointing, very thin. Service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry so all fine with us. A good restaurant, would return and try something esle

Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. We were seen by the bar staff as soon as we entered the venue, even though it was quite busy. The waiting staff were all quite young (early 20s) and normally I find that this limits their ability to give quality service; not the case here. I had the mushroom and courgette brown butter crêpe which was amazing and my friend had the Thai green curry which she loved. My three beignets were quite filling (two would have sufficed) but I cleared my plate so can't have been too much. The staff reacted very well when my friend accidentally set light to her napkin (!) and made light of the situation. Atmosphere was lively but not to the point where we couldn't hear one another. I'm from south east London and I would go back, perhaps for my birthday.

I went on a Friday evening to catch up with the girls. Starter (fish cakes) and Main (hake) were ok, but average. My desert was amazing though: the fresh donuts were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Nice wine list. Friendly service and food arrived promply. The worst part was when the live music started and I found myself having to scream to be heard. We just quickly ordered the bill and left to continue our evening catch up somewhere else. Avoid Friday nights if you don't want this happening to you too.

All the staff went out of their way to make our evening superb. It was my girlfriend's birthday and I asked when I booked for something special, on arrival they brought us both free champagne, they were friendly and polite and we shared some jokes. Dinner was wonderful and afterwards they brought us free dessert with candles in! Will definitely be going back.

A Friend and I ate here for sunday lunch and thought it was excellent, we shared the crab cakes which were delicious, and had two very good roasts. friendly and attentive staff, who were able to recommend a nice wine. Was a bit noisy in parts but I put that down to the large party in the restaurant, all and all had a very nice time and will be back.

Came in on a Friday evening, lovely welcome, had a cocktail which had been barrel aged! Staff were brilliant and attentive. Food was superb. Three courses (the seafood cioppino and pork shoulder were outstanding). Nice buzz building up in the bar with live music as the night went on. Can't wait to go again. Brunch looks great too.

Didn't think brunch was great. 4 of us had poached eggs and only 1 person had a runny egg, the rest were slightly like bullets. I like the place - the staff were friendly and helpful but food defo needs a tweek!
