Staff was great despite a late arrival by one of the members of our party which caused a delay in our ordering.

The mussels, OMG! The best prepared mussels I have ever had. The broth was thick and flavorful full of chorizzo, red peppers and onions and the mussels were plentiful and perfectly cooked. This would have been a meal in itself. My wife loved the beat salad and squash and zucchini casserole. We also tried the homemade sausage and banana pepper flatbread which was way better than any thin crust pizza I have had. Friends had the cheese plate which was adequate. Two bottles of Malbec made this dinner into a great celebration. It is a two hour drive for us from the west but we plan on going again next time we are in the area.

I had not been to Bolsa in awhile. The food was outstanding. I had the redfish and it was amazing. I do think that the prices have crept up which is kind of a shame because I would like to afford to be able to go more often. Seemed that they might have been a little short on servers that night but ours was really pleasant.

I went to brunch with a friend and we totally enjoyed the entire brunch experience. The waitstaff was attentive and the atmosphere was just what we had in mind. We sat on the patio to enjoy the beautiful day and were not disappointed. Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

If you like olives, the labneh or fried olives are delicious. We were with another couple who had the orrichiete pasta as an entrée which included shrimp and they loved it. And we had several of the flat bread salads and appetizers. Everything was absolutely wonderful!

The steak was tough and I ordered it medium rare. The Chef didn't like that I sent it back. However, the wait staff are so sweet and very helpful. I will try Bolsa for brunch to give it another shot.

I had an excellent risotto made with farro instead of rice, very crunchy. The bruschetta combinations were surprising and delicious.
