Everything was fine. This was the last night for them to be open. I will miss the good Indian food.
Sad that it's closed, loved the place and food taste!
Perfect evening for patio meal. Brought friend from out of state and fell in love with the food. He never had Indian food before
What a fantastic meal!
It was wonderful up until the BLM protesters walk down the street yelling their ridiculous chants at the good people supporting our local economy.
Great food that is not just the typical fare, great service, great value.
This is by far our favorite place in Santa Rosa. You cannot beat the happy hour. It’s the best in town. Lovely outdoor dining, friendly staff and incredible food right in the heart of downtown.
Loved the crispy cauliflower and the pakoras!! The curries has amazing favor but would have liked some veggies in them...mine only had chickpeas and my husbands only had beef! But like I said the flavor was absolutely delicious. Excellent service and comfortable outside seating.
Welcoming staff and comfortable seating for current times. Nice to enjoy the new 'patio' thanks to SR downtown street closures. Always great cocktails and wines by the glass plus tasty food. Menu is simplified due to current trends yet every plate we order - crispy cauliflower, channa masala, saag paneer, garlic naan and sticky toffee cake were outstanding. Comfortable and safe surroundings.
Absolutely excellent service, great food and a fantastic happy hour!
Seated outside, 111 degrees out, smokey air, and we still enjoyed Bollywood. Our wait person was attentive and personable. Will go there many more times.
I can’t wait to go back. Service was fantastic! The drinks were perfection and the food delish. My first time eating here, it did not disappoint. A+
It hurts me to write such a poor review but to be honest this place is terrible. If this was Omaha Nebraska I would give this place some slack, but to be in a premier food and wine destination and to each such poor quality food was embarrassing especially as someone who is Indian and always wants Indian restaurants to do well. Would recommend not visiting, did not meet 1 star in an quality of any aspect of a restaurant. My husband and I both felt sick as we ate our food and we could not even complain as our service was non existent. It confirms why this restaurant has so many open table reservation available tables, others have also realized this place is terrible. No pride in their food and no quality. Beware
This place is SOOOO GOOD!!! I honestly could go here everyday if I could.
It was amazing, great all around. Saved it and will definitely be back.
They're doing a fabulous job given all the obstacles that face servers, chefs, and restaurants. The food was amazing and the service was as good.
We'd come here before and dined upstairs; the food was quite good, but the service was lacking. Not only slow, but they stuck as at a really bad table next to a service island even though there were plenty of better tables available...but we asked to be moved and they did accommodate us.
This time we dined outside (the only option). Again, the food was excellent (though a bit too salty) but service was slow and everything cooled off very quickly as it was a chilly evening for August. Still, the charred corn salad was a hit, and the rock shrimp (pakoras, I think) were also delicious. The salmon with peas and coconut milk was tasty, but could have used a lot less salt on top.
We love this restaurant! Best happy hour in Santa Rosa. The crispy cauliflower and shrimp alo tiki is not to be missed. The entire staff is wonderful. We especially love Long. He’s fantastic! Great food, chic and chill vibe and welcoming staff.
The flavors are excellent, every dishes tasted authentic and delicious. The only complain I have is the chicken tandoori, not cooked in a tandoori oven.
Great food and service. They have expanded their outdoor seating. Safely distanced.
My fav spot in Santa Rosa!!!
Great happy hour!
Great choices, fun server, good bar. So glad to have as a Santa Rosa favorite.
A true Santa Rosa favorite! GREAT food - varied menu - awesome bar - friendly professional service and beautiful space - Hands down one of the top places to enjoy dinner in Sonoma County
Our server was fantastic!! So fun and knowledgeable . She made our dining experience so much fun.
Wine Wednesday gives half-price on bottles of wine. Bollywood has a wonderful wine list and made some interesting selections available at that price. The food at Bollywood is always great, an upscale twist on Indian, always full of spices and fragrances that aren't in most cuisines. The portion sizes are excellent, made for sharing. What do I not like about this place?
Nice place for a business meeting. Easy lunch place and reasonable prices
delicious food. refreshing cocktails. great service!
Food was amazingly great!!! And the cocktails are out of this world! Our waitress, however, was somewhat curt with us, and was slow to attend to the table or even take our orders. . .
As always, the food was wonderful. Some of the cocktails were not well-balanced in flavor (too much bitters), and we had a little trouble getting our server's attention for refills. We also forgot to order rice with our curry and were not asked if we wanted any; by the time we realized it needed to be requested, we couldn't find our server. I asked another server and he said he would take care of it, but we never did get our rice. Still, at least we weren't charged for it. We will still return, because the food is good enough to compensate for small annoyances.
It was the third time I’ve dined at the restaurant, but the first time I’ve sat upstairs. The ambient noise level was too loud to carry on a conversation with my husband. Other than that the food was excellent I love Bollywood
TASTING MENU GAVE A GOOD OVERVIES OF THEIR FOOD BUT WAS WAY TOO MUCH FOR TWO. DELICIOUS GOOD, GOOD SERVICE.
We loved the food, the ambiance, the price, and the surprise dancing performance. We will come back again for sure!
It was good. The food was not very hot.
Perfect place for a Valentine's dinner. Wonderful set menu with a broad variety of foods !
The food was absolutely delicious, their cocktails are always great as well!
Loved the food and the service! Great place! Left very pleased♥️
We had reservations and the host was horrible we asked for a different table because the host decided to sit us in an awkward table right next to the bar and the serving station. They had plenty of open tables at the time and he denied us the opportunity to sit in a different location. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was extremely kind. For the remaining of the evening they did not seat anyone at that table that they offered us...
The best Indian food we have ever had. The palak paneer was so fresh and the flavors popped! Fun drinks as well. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars!
My only grimace was that one of the waitresses had a weird attitude towards us, like we didn’t belong at the restaurant. Maybe because we are young? Then at the end she acted really nice because it took a really long time for her to attend to our bill, which was fine because it got really busy. Her original attitude threw me off though.
However the food was amazing, the restaurant itself is beautifully laid out. I can’t wait to go again.
