Duck was amazing. Foie gras was best we’ve ever had!

The dinner was lovey, and the service was excellent. However, we were seated next to a family of 4 (two questionably active children) on one side, and a business meeting of three on the other. Guess I was expecting a certain crowd to be in attendance, and wound up with commotion on either side. I was shocked that the restaurant knew we had a birthday, yet we were still seated in such an undesirable seats. The restaurant wasn’t full. This could have been avoided.

Nonetheless, I tipped 20% on ~$375 and likely won’t be back.

It was New Years Eve, 7 course dinner, 4 of the courses were excellent, 3 average, the pasta was Luke warm and lacked flavor, the fish also cool instead of warm and had a strong dish taste. My duck was very fatty, my husbands was better.

New Years Eve tasting menu! Everything exceeded expectations! Tasting menu was exceptional! Service outstanding! Couldn’t have been more enjoyable for our out of town guests! Have been going out with same group for last 20 years in Chicago! This was our best choice ever! Kudos to chef and staff for such an awesome experience!

We celebrated my husband's birthday and the restaurant was perfect on any account.

Our experience at Boka was superb. The food, every course, was flawless. The timing of the courses was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I am embarrassed it took me 10 years of living in Chicago to go here. We will be back and for the tasting menu. In addition it was my husbands birthday and the small touches they added, including the complimentary dessert were greatly appreciated.

Great service and food was awesome. Had some noisy neighbors but it wasn’t too disruptive. They even gave me a piece of chocolate cake with my name write on the plate for my birthday.

Really great experience and our waiter was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Only drawback was the octopus appetizer was a little overdone. Otherwise the food was fantastic!

Great date night location; definitely wouldn’t get the winter tasting menu again. It was okay, just not worth the price tag for what we got.

A new dinning experience was the desire, so I decided to take my wife out to Boka for dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant we visibly pleasant & inviting. The meal was delicious and the service was great. Surprisingly, the offerings for the main course menu was small. I will definitely like to visit again sometime soon.

It was my wife birthday and despite they gave us a birthday menu, the dessert was not served with a a candle.

I love Boka and that's we went back, at the same time they gave us a tiny table by the entrance. It was ok for my wife being in the corner but it was really unpleasant to me.

Amazing dinner in a really cool environment. This was the most unpretentious Michelin starred restaurant that I have eaten in. The chefs tasting menu was creative and well executed and very approachable.

High level of credit for the friendliness and assistance of Service. Wine choices are excellent and cocktails unusual of interesting and delicious taste. Fish and venison dish orders are both unbelievably well prepared and spot on for taste. However what is included on the dish is not so appetizing.

I love boka. Everything is always delicious and the dumplings I could eat everyday. My only little complaint is that the food comes out luke warm. I have ordered the full duck a few times and every time they bring it out and present the full thing before cutting it up, which leads to it being not hot enough when plated. If you order the duck ask if they can skip the presentation so that you can hopefully eat your duck hot. The dish definitely needs it since there is a thick and flavorful skin.

My wife and I visited Boka one of the nights of our honeymoon and the entire staff made our night so special. We both got the tasting menu and all of it was amazing. It was plated beautifully and tasted perfect. Cannot recommend Boka enough.
