Boiler House at Pearl is a true Texas original. Situated in the historic Pearl Brewery complex on the San Antonio River Walk, this wine-centric restaurant occupies the former “boiler house” which powered the adjacent brewery. Lead by Executive Chef Alberto "Beto" Gutierrez, the menu focuses on grilled items from local farms and markets, with a focus on “Texas ranch-style” cuisine. These delicacies are paired with extraordinary wines from around the world (available by the glass, bottle and “to-go”), full bar, live music and a casual yet energetic atmosphere. The unique list of wines boasts some of the lowest prices in the area.

The restaurant incorporates various private dining areas suitable for private or corporate functions and an expansive outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy dining alfresco. We can host groups anywhere from 9 up to 290 guests in our unique, flexible private event spaces.

Lobster eggs benny.....good job. Service was good. Food was tasty. The build your own bloody Mary bar was old school. Pretty quiet for a weekend market day.

Perfection at the Pearl. This restaurant knows how to take care of you! From the moment you enter and speak with the amazing hostess, to the barkeeps, chefs, and wait staff, your visit is important to each and every one! Each of them really care about YOUR experience and happiness. Even though we are regulars, the GM, Scott Simdorn, and evening mgr took time out of their busy night to speak with us and talk about our experience as well as the continual future of the restaurant. Great conversation and wonderful attention to customers!!

We are new to the area after spending a few years in Europe. We have eaten at a few restaurants the last few weeks and this one was the one where we were finally like ok San Antonio, this was good! I made the reservation after seeing the great reviews and it was my husband’s birthday. The menu is delicious. We loved the quail poppers and pimento spread. My husband had the elk chops and I had the filet. Our kids had burgers and short rib grilled cheese. Everything was so good! And that bread pudding is a must! Chefs kiss Our server was the star. Her name is Joey and she is phenomenal. She helped me choose wine. She made great recommendations. She wasn’t too overbearing but attentive enough which I love. Coming from Europe we enjoyed a certain level of service and this restaurant was the first one we’ve been to in this city that is on par for service! Highly recommend! We will be back.

Such a fabulous place to go. From the starters (olives, Brie, beets, and crab cakes), a Bloody Mary, the bread pudding dessert and mostly our waiter, Nick. This place did not disappoint! Returning soon!

We celebrated a birthday and from walking in the birthday girl was greeted and made to feel special. Cynthia, our server went above and beyond. Overall great experience. This was not our first time dinning here and there is a reason why we keep going back. Highly recommended!
