   The food was excellent and lived up to the restaurant’s strong reputation, even on a very busy Mother’s Day. We understand that holidays bring additional pressure and new staff, and we were patient throughout the meal. However, the service at the end was disappointing. After ordering dessert and a dessert wine, the dessert came promptly, but the wine took over 15 minutes. We were first told the bar was busy, and later the manager said they couldn’t find the bottle. While we appreciate the challenges of the day, a restaurant of this prestige should have better coordination and communication. It was an unfortunate end to an otherwise enjoyable experience.

   A great lunch from a a Mother Day’s only menu. Good choice. Probably not the best option for Vegans or vegetarians but for others, great choice.

   I ordered the pork chop medium well and regretted it. My fiancé got medium and it was way more tender. I just wasn’t sure with pork.

   We had a great experience and Joey our server was amazing. Really appreciated Joey’s recommendations, kindness and service. Made the entire experience great and memorable.

   From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by the hostess, we knew we were in for a great night. We were seated out on the patio, which was absolutely beautiful with perfect weather. Darren H., our server, greeted us right away and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu without feeling rushed. He also offered the special of the day, which sounded amazing, but my wife isn’t into seafood — maybe next time! We started with Caesar salads that were absolutely perfect — crisp, fresh, and flavorful. For drinks, we tried the Garden of Eden and the Smokey Sunset. Both were fantastic — perfectly balanced, not too strong, not too sweet — exactly what we were hoping for. For our entrées, we had the Texan Burger, a medium Ribeye, and the Poblano Mac n Cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible, but I have to say — the Poblano Mac n Cheese stole the show. It’s honestly hard to describe just how good it was… you have to try it for yourselves! Of course, none of this experience would have been the same without Darren’s outstanding service. He was attentive, personable, and professional — true 5-star quality. We enjoyed every moment of our dinner and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Darren and Boiler House, for a wonderful night!

    This was a standout meal on our trip to San Antonio. The food is delicious, the environment is comfortable and casual, but it was the service that really made our night. We booked a table outside and it started to rain as we were walking up. The hostess was able to sit us inside, no problem. Then our server Cynthia was the best! Not only was she so knowledgeable of the menu, she told us all sorts of places to visit while in the city. I had the filet, broccolini and corn cheesecake. All 10/10!!
