   Food was good BUT sat down and waiter kept asking us if we are ready to order within minutes of getting the menu. Ordered drinks and wanted us to order food but we hadn’t looked at food menu yet. Then we ordered an appetizer and our meals. My drink showed up finally but not my wife’s. No reason? Then minutes later the appetizer and meals show up together, still no drink…. So I asked why it all came at once and why my wife’s drink not there. Oh they ran out of the liquore. They took the meals back but left appetizer. Finally a replacement drink showed up. Now the meals took well over 20 mins and no one had come by to check on us. Finally my wife said something and 20 mins later we got our meals. It’s crazy. At first I felt like they wanted us out in 45 mins then we couldn’t get them to see us. The food was good though.

   I was really looking forward to celebrating my husband and I anniversary. I pre booked using open table. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were met by a lady who was front of house, who had totally overlooked the welcoming attitude that was probably in her job description but refrained from using it. Once we were seated, we had to wait for another server to ask what brunch we wanted. This was explained to us three times as the music was so loud. The live singer was amazing but completely wasted as it was so loud. No one could hear anything. We were shown the area to go to for the salad, fish and cold meat selection. This was also where they kept the cold lasagne meat and vegetarian version. I told the waiter that the lasagna was cold and I don’t know if you could hear me but I was ignored. They never came round to remove dirty plates or cutlery, even when asked. A couple sat down next to us and they were prominently met with the same lack of welcome as we were. But lucky them, they got water spilt over them and not an apology or a napkin was had. The food is bog standard but your table will be crowded with used plates, so be prepared. The servers were quibbling amongst theirselves the whole time. If you asked a particular server to remove crockery then she would wave at another minion to do the job. Let’s say ALL the staff had no intention of letting the customers have a relaxing enjoyable event, whilst at their establishment. All I ask is if I go out for dinner to celebrate an event in my life, I trust the servers to make my time there enjoyable.

   Food was amazing, attentive service and good vibes. Mushroom pappardella was super and the lamb as well was so tender and juicy.

   Restaurant staff were welcoming on arrival and continued to be polite throughout; they were not always available though. Food was excellent; presentation and flavour. This in deep contrast to several negative comments that have been left in other posts. Surprisingly filling and generously portioned I enjoyed the ‘tartare fish (3) and back rib of beef and creamed mash. Sumptuous. My guest similarly very much enjoyed theirs too. Cocktail menu is fun. Ambience is tricky, we found the venue too noisy but put this down to design - some acoustic panelling may help the reverberation. It was a struggle to hear each other in the middle of the room. Value, it was expensive. Once VAT and Service had been added the final price for two was just shy of £300. It felt about £70 more than I expected. For this reason I have scored overall a ‘3’. In comparison to (Kerridges and Sheekey’s) and a low value wine with the meal, the overall value, taste and experience did not compare. Would I go again? Yes, absolutely but would likely order less and drink water.

   Sunday buffet was lovely enjoyed everything staff and restaurant very nice would go again had friend with nut allergy and they were very helpful

   Excellent authentic Italian cuisine would highly recommend the beef short rib also the service was absolutely outstanding catered to everyone’s needs and made sure that we were happy and satisfied with the food and also the overall service would highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant at some point.

    Absolutely loved our time at Bocconcino Soho! The food was incredib, fresh pasta, delicious cocktails, and the truffle pizza was to die for. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was elegant but still relaxed. Perfect spot for a date or special occasion.
