   The food was delicious! Fresh and flavorful, as well as the drinks. Our server was nice and her recommendations were helpful. I talked to other guests dinning there and they said that they loved the food. I highly recommend Bocca and will definitely go back!

   We visit the Wallingford area a few times per year to visit the Toyota Oakdale Theatre . This restaurant was found by my family to enjoy before our show . It is amazing the service , the food , the service is above top notch . The waitress remembered us from our last visit . Delicious food fresh beyond measure and the drinks are amazing . A definite revisit every time . Highly recommended

   I chose to visit on Valentine's Day, and it turned out to be quite a disappointment. I had made a reservation for 9 PM, but when I arrived, there was no one at the little desk to welcome or assist us with seating. We waited around 15 to 20 minutes before I decided to reach out to someone. Even though several staff members walked by us multiple times, none stopped to check if we had a reservation or needed help. I get that it was a busy holiday, but they really should be better prepared for that. It only takes a moment to acknowledge customers at the door and let them know they’re being taken care of. To make matters worse, we didn’t receive our food until 11 PM. The seating was terrible, and having a reservation didn’t seem to matter at all. It’s surprising that on such a busy day, there isn’t a time limit for tables or reservations to ensure fairness for everyone. As a business, they should anticipate busy events and have a solid plan in place. No excuses. Our bill came to over $150, plus tip. The rice tasted like it came from a microwaveable bag, and the steak was overly salty. It was way too expensive for what we received. I’d rate the service a 3, the ambiance a 4, and the food a 2. I won’t be returning. They really need to step up their game, especially for a place that charges a premium. It was a real letdown. Hopefully, they’ll improve for the next busy holiday.

   Didn’t even get a chance to make it inside. I made a reservation for 9 PM on Valentine’s Day. I walked in and they told me that they’re an hour behind on seating. I made a reservation for a reason and if you couldn’t accommodate, then you should’ve closed your reservations. The only thing I was offered was an apology.

   Had a reservation at 8:30 I understand it was Valentine’s Day so obviously it was going to be packed but no excuse as to why my 8:30 reservation got pushed back for 30+ minutes for people who had 8:00 reservations who didn’t show up , on top of that food took almost an hour to come out although the food was still good the experience was underwhelming to say the least

   Incredible food. Taste and presentation was incredible. The service and manager were polite and pleasant. Super recommend.

   The food was excellent, and the wait staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the wait for our food was just too long. It took over an hour and a half to receive our food order. We did receive our drinks in a timely fashion but not the food. I saw at least two other couples leave after they received their drinks but gave up waiting for their food to arrive! And, the food was so delicious when we finally got it. This cute restaurant needs to get the kitchen crew in gear so people do not get frustrated with such a long wait.

   Overall our experience was decent. Came on Valentine’s Day so expected a busy night. Food and drinks were good but customer service could be better from host and waitress.

    From the minute we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with such kindness. We never felt rushed with our meal. Our server was amazing and explained everything and when we would get our food. He really wanted to us feel at home. The food was amazing - best food we’ve had in a long time. Kudos to the staff and the chef.
