The staff was wonderful. The food was not great. Several liked the gumbo. The Nordstrom salad was not good. It doesn't have a nice presentation and a lot of the lettuce is bitter. Left more than half.
The ambiance is nice and location downtown is very convenient for business lunches.

Service was very slow and when it did arrive, it was lukewarm. There were not many gluten free options for one of our diners. The fish was excellent, even if it wasn't hot enough. After 1 1/2 hours, we had to request the dessert included in the winter menu in a take home box.

Went for a birthday. Dinner was yummy but didn’t get even a scoop of ice cream for the birthday. Nothing. Quite bummed.

I’ve been here before and experienced the same issues with confusion and slow service at the tables. Appetizers at the side bar were much more prompt.

We went here for a pre-theatre show. The waitress was very conscious of our time frame and offered some options for appetizers, drinks, meals. We both had a great ginger drink. I had a crab cake and beet salad which was wonderful. Prices were high, but food was wonderful.

They had no record of my Open Table reservation. Had to wait a long time for refills (tea, water). The salmon we both ordered was nearly raw. We both had the same thing and when it came back from more cooking the server gave us each others plate. Absolutely deplore a mandatory 20% tip on bill. OK for seafood, not the best, or the worst.

Good service from our chirpy waiter, table could have been better though, second last booth before the washrooms when the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy.
We had the fixed price menu. The salad was delicious, the wasabi crusted fish had no heat at all. A well cooked piece of fish but a bit bland. Mr sorbet was tasty and my husband enjoyed his chocolate tart, whats not to like about chocolate!
All in all about a seven out of ten for me.

I was dissapointed in the food. It was extremely salty and my portion was almost a tapas size compared to my colleague who ordered the same thing which was almost 3 times the size. For such a high end restaurant the quality didn't seem to match up. I would recommend it with a grain of salt - it's now on my hit or miss list on what it will be like. The service was also off. The waiter seemed to be non-chalant when taking our food orders. We didn't feel welcomed. It's almost like we were bothering him by being there. I hadn't been there in years and was surprised how empty it was for such a busy location. Post the OK food and OK service we experience - I'm not surprised that it's not a go-to lunch spot.

Went on a Saturday night ( 7pm ) and place was 75% empty....they were closing up sections. Service started off good but tailed off as dinner went on. There was a big gap in between courses with no real checking on us. Table was cluttered with plates and dinnerware that wasn't in use for long periods of time even though a bus boy was walking around. The ambiance and service was just lacking and think the place needs a re-do internally.

The food however was very good. Oysters fresh, seafood perfectly cooked, and portions are quite big. Nice wine list as well with plenty to choose from to pair with your dinner.

So overall it wasn't a bad night at all, just expected more.

The food was excellent. Every dish perfectly prepared & with beautiful presentation. Our only complaint was the service. The waiter repeatedly approached our table asking to take our order even after being told that we were not in a hurry. When we asked about any specials and he stated that usually they have a pre shift meeting and he didn’t know why they didn’t have one he never returned with an answer. A server should anticipate the needs of the guest and read the table. He did none of these. I had to request water refills when all of our water glasses were empty and he never refilled them again. We spent over $400 on our meal that evening and despite how wonderful the food was we may never return because of the unprofessional service.
