It was quite difficult to find my way into the venue. I initially went through the entrance and downstairs, but it wasn’t clear if I was in the right place. I ended up coming back up the dark staircase, using my phone flashlight just to find my way out. After calling my friends for help, I learned that I actually had been in the right spot — I just needed to walk past the washrooms to reach the main area. Unfortunately, the mysterious, hidden entrance didn’t really work for me. It left me feeling confused and disoriented rather than intrigued. Clear signage or some guidance would make a big difference in improving the arrival experience. Inside, the lighting was quite dim. I again had to use my phone flashlight — this time to read the menu. The seating also felt unusually low, and my whole group commented that it felt like we were almost sitting on the floor. That said, the food and drinks were very good, and we appreciated the quality. Still, the overall experience wasn't comfortable enough for me to want to return.

Very cool. Very much the dark, moody hidden bar. Beautifully designed, a limited menu of good food with a good selection of original cocktails, without sacrificing real craftsmanship in making the classics.

Absolutely loved the decor and vibe of this place—perfect spot for a girls’ night out! The cocktails were amazing, and the host made sure we were well taken care of. We even made a few new friends at the bar—everyone was so welcoming. Highly recommend!

While the name doesn't really make any sense, once you go past those big doors and down the stairs, it does feel like you're swimming in an underwater cave. This anachronistic tiki themed space has exquisite drinks and bites, and very comfortable conversation pits. It's very dark.

This was a really fun spot and experience to have in Calgary! I would love to see tiny, dim table lights that can be turned on and off when looking at the menu. This small touch would keep the experience high end as guests shining flashlights on full brightness on their phones kind of kills the vibe once your eyes have adjusted. Psst, you can dim your phone flashlights! There were a few weird service things, we were brought food before side plates and cutlery and had to ask for them. The waitress sprayed the table down next to us and misted us, and everything on it, in the process with disinfectant. The team seemed really young. Overall food and drinks/menu were awesome, will return!

Awesome spot, what a great find! Didn’t know mission had this hidden gem! Great cocktails, ambiance is perfect for a catch up or an intimate date. Didn’t try much of the food, but the apple chips we got were delicious!

the milk bread was so warm and fluffy and the popcorn chicken was so nice and juicy. all the drinks are fantastic and it is a very nice vibe and the atmosphere is unmatched. overall great experience. will be back!

Fantastic spot. Drinks were very very good and reasonably priced for how fancy they are. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Top level night spot in Calgary.

Had a really great appy’s and drinks with girlfriends, we love the vibes here so much but you are very close to eating and reading a menu in the dark. Other than that really great experience overall.

It’s such a beautiful venue. Although the drinks and the food were tasty, what was supposed to be a cute date night out turned into a horrible experience. As It ended up being 2 parties having a singing match of happy birthday for a good 20 minutes. Then we ended up sitting behind one of the parties, they took one of our chairs and took up the entire path for the servers. Resting their arms on our table and not respecting our space. Service was great despite all of this. She tried her best to work around the party in front of us. Drinks were delicious and the food was good.
