Food was awesome. My DH ate the miso Salmon and LOVED it. I built a mac and cheese...YUM. Love the fried pickles and housemade ranch dressing. Our waitress was on it! She was very friendly and helpful.

Was a dine out night for our school so we saw lots of friends there. The servers were a tad slow turning the tables which I thought was odd since they had a 2 hr. Wait from what we heard.

We’ve dined here several times. Food was only average this occasion. Happy hour is usually good, but the place was busy, the wait staff slammed, so service was off, the “crisp” (requested) fries were barely done (the fries were cool when served, and they charged for me for the replacement order! NOT cool.) This was our second disappointing experience recently. The restaurant just dropped a couple of notches in our estimation. By comparison, I was disappointed with a favorite food item at our favorite restaurant a few weeks ago, and just mentioned it to the server when she asked “how’s everything?” It was not posed as a complaint, but a question. When the tab came, I was not charged for it. THAT is the kind of customer thoughtfulness that makes me return. There are too many good restaurants in KC to endure poor service, average food and ignorance of customer care.

We both enjoyed our meals. Waitress was excellent. It was quite cold in the restaurant, but they adjusted the a/c a little. It was still too cold for me. I believe they have another dining room, but we were seated in the bar area. There were just a few booths, and the rest are high tables.

This was our second trip here. They seem to be short staffed. Long wait for drinks and food. Fortunately we weren’t in a hurry so no problem.

We requested a special seating request for Sunday brunch. We were celebrating our elderly friend's birthday and everyone went above and beyond to make the occasion, special. Kudos to all!

The restaurant was dead on a Saturday night (Makes sense after our experience). We made reservations for four and it was not necessary. One would assume that service would be quick under the circumstances. Not the case. We waited almost about an hour just for our salads to arrive. Once the food arrived, it certainly was not worth the wait.

Since the is one of he few restaurant close to the Red Bridge neighborhood, it is unfortunate that it is mediocre. I'll continue to drive over to Kansas instead. They should take a lesson from Summit Grill in Waldo.

The brunch while normally very good was not on 08/12/2018. The food was overcooked and cold almost across the board. My wife and I did not even finish our plates it was that bad. $50.00 down the drain.

I generally do not waste my time complaining at restaurants because it really does no good. You'll get some comp with your current bill or for a future visit. My thing is when food is terrible, I just do not go back. Which is the case with Blue Moose.

We went to enjoy casual dining that had flair and was not disappointed. The Happy Hour specials displayed variety and the atmosphere was quiet which enabled coversation. Service was outstanding as the staff asked each time when to bring out the next dish ordered. Definitely will visit again and have been recommending to friends and family.

Blue Moose was very good, as usual. The cuban sandwich is really excellent and the crab cakes were very good, too. We love their cranberry/walnut salad and always order that, regardless of what entrees we order. The service was very good, too!

This was my husband and I's first time there and we were celebrating our anniversary. Our server Grant was great and took very good care of us! The food was delicious!! We had a very nice , relaxing dinner.

Very good experience our first time to Blue Moose. Great food, liked the atmosphere. There were a few minor issues with the service, but they resolved everything to our satisfaction and it was clear that they wanted to make it right. We'll be back!

We arrived at 6:15 & I had reserved for 6:30. There were a lot of open tables, but the hostess said she would seat us closer to our reservation time. This was a first in my experience with open table. All other places have seated us right away.
My 5oz filet from the lighter menu was excellent and done perfectly. My sister ordered the sliders with the gouda cheese corn. It came out very soupy & when she asked the waiter if this was the normal consistancy, he said it was , but would get her a spoon. After that, service went down hill. He never refilled our drinks. We had to ask other people to do this. I had the ask for ketchup for my fries & butter for my roll. When I was eating my last bite, one of the female servers grabbed my plate before I had it to my mouth, and asked if we were done. This made us feel like they were trying to rush us out of there. They were not very busy & lots of open tables.
We liked the decor, but disappointed with service.
The steak was the best part , but rest of food items just mediocre.
This was my sisters second visit there & so far not too impressed

3 OF US HAD A VERY PLEASANT DINNER TOGETHER. OUR SERVER, RYAN, WAS RIGHT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING AND IS A VERY PLEASANT YOUNG MAN. I WOULD REQUEST HIM AGAIN.

We were excited to try a casual restaurant near our friends’ new home. They have a nice menu with some healthy choices. The shrimp wontons were very good and my petite filet was also quite good and cooked perfectly. My husband’s pasta dish arrived lukewarm but the kitchen replaced it quickly and he said it was delicious. Service was friendly but very very slow. It took some time to even get a drink menu and it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. There were many servers and the restaurant was not particularly busy so I’m not sure what caused the problem.

Food was very good, service was attentive. Won't be coming back to the restaurant as no handicapped parking. Spaces in front for take-out orders, but none for handicapped licenses. Question how occupancy permit granted w the deficiency.

Disappointed some items that were served at prior location were no longer on menu. Also smoke from outside patrons was coming into restaurant near our table close to door...door should remain closed, except for passage to and from patio.

Blue Moose in Red Bridge is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We ate there on Father's Day and both had meals we really enjoyed. I had the Cuban sandwich and my husband had the smoked chicken pasta. Both were excellent.

This was a new place for a us, a group of eight. We found the accommodation very good, the service and the food excellent and reasonably priced. Amazingly, in a large room with several tables of diners, we were able to carry on conversations with our whole table without raising our voices! Very good wine list, a range of prices & mix of familiar and wines not known to us. Happy hour wines by the glass are all half price. Cocktails $3.50up. A hummus appetizer plate was excellent. My beef empanadas were good, and my wife, who is vegetarian said her veggie burger and sweet potato fries were the best she’s had in a restaurant in Kansas City. The rest of the menu choices of the group were very satisfactory to everyone. Service was excellent from a pleasant, efficient, prompt waitress. New to us today, but it will be on our regular happy hour/ dinner out list now.

Went for brunch today, 2nd time going and was good setup and lots of choices. They have a small card on the table if you want an omelette or French toast. Service was good and drinks were refilled when needed. Bring appetite so you get your monies worth. The only negative is my wife ordered two eggs over easy and it came back as a plain omelette and the next time came back as two eggs well done. Minor issue, we know for next time to just stick to menu stuff.

We book a last minute reservation 1/2 hour before the time. Walked in at that time and were immediately seated. Service was good and the food was served quickly. I had a panini and my husband had chicken with pasta. Both dishes were very good. It is a neighborhood restaurant and we’ve eaten there several times.

Although we've eaten at the Blue Moose in Prairie Village, this is our first time at the new Blue Moose at Red Bridge. The restaurant has an openness to it that we liked. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the Sunday brunch and it was very good. A nice variety of food but not over whelming. Everything we ate was delicious, including the French toast ordered separately. The brunch price is very reasonable.

We went for a birthday dinner. I asked if the chefs were good. Even though we ordered 3 burgers, 2 were over cooked and crispy burnt ends. So dry. The other meal was a curry and that was good to our birthday girl, so that’s what matters.

Waitress was nice, just a little late when we could have used a refill.

For a new restaurant, very good srvice and very good food. 4th time here and not disapointed at all. The 1st time here steak was waaaay overcooked but the manager made it right. That is why we keep coming back!

Went to the new Blue Moose-Red Bridge for the first time Thursday night. Had a great time. Our server Jennifer was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable about menu items and made our experience enjoyable. Enjoyed the burger and sweet potato fries and spouse enjoyed his fish and chips. The "mini" cheesecake was anything but "mini". We shared a piece and it was delicious. Will plan to return. Have heard their Sunday brunch is spectacular so we plan to check that out soon.

Overall lunch was good. However, I waited over 5 minutes at the hostess stand while three staff members argued over how many people were expected in the large group coming in and where they were and how many had arrived. Not a great first impression.
