I had lunch here with three friends and then breakfast the next day. The service was laughable. - We were told we had to order off the brunch menu when we'd specifically booked a standard menu. I was made to bring up proof of my booking to the manager. - When we ordered a bottle of wine we were told they'd have to see if they had it and 20 minutes later we'd heard nothing so chased, were told there was no news and so we went with a different bottle - and colour. It was 30 mins from sitting down at lunch on a very hot day to having anything to drink. (Tap water had to be requested each time our glasses were empty and then it was sloshed carelessly into our glasses.) - At breakfast they brought the wrong drinks initially then we had to wait 25 minutes for coffees and juice for another member of the party. The food came out first - and that wasn't quick. - They were understaffed at breakfast and generally quite disinterested at lunch. - We asked for a table on the terrace after lunch and were quickly told there was no room and encouraged to leave. It was only after we pushed quite firmly and asked them to actually check that it was reluctantly revealed there was space and we were permitted entry. It very much felt that as four 40-something women our faces simply didn't fit with the nubile 20-somethings that made up their core clientele. A lovely hotel but we just felt unwelcome and invisible. 100% won't be going back.

The venue is great but unfortunately the Spanish speaking staff were very bias/racist. Despite paying we weren’t allowed to sit at a poolside table after our ethnicities (English & Greek) were asked prior. When our Spanish friend later arrived we were instantly given a nice place with her, at which the Spanish speaking worker said to her that he reserves the best seats specifically for Spanish and Latinos. The overbearing and pretentious nature that many of the staff hold is obvious and uncomfortable the second you walk in. While the English speaking staff were genuinely far kinder, unfortunately the bias nature of the others is very obvious and very uncomfortable to be around.

Beautiful place, however Service absolutely terrible we ordered bread we got it at the end of our meal when the dessert was arriving I asked for a surprise cake because it was my sister birthday no cake ever came Overall, very disappointing shame because the place could have a great potential

Rude and dismissive staff. We’d booked and paid a deposit but the staff seemed surprised and annoyed by our visit. They also didn’t take the deposit off our total. The place was shabby - fraying cardboard menus etc. Would certainly recommend trying another rooftop venue if you’re in the area.

Had brunch at the roof top restaurant after watch Richard Branson on Instagram visit this Virgin Hotel while in the UK! Really loved the vibe a roof top pool in central London in 26C heat - perfect. Great food and the staff were great. Great spot for summer dining and chill out. Would stay there next time in London.

At 545 there was only 10% of the menu available having booked for an early dinner. No point to stay for more than a drink. Staff apologetic , management taking no responsibility for their horrendous operating standards. Will not be going back

It was okay, however they took my booking wrong and we had to wait over an hour for brunch service, and I was told the dj would be there but he didn’t show up till 3 and I booked for 11:30. It was my birthday so it was quite frustrating

Be careful when booking the Brunch Menu as we were led to believe that the brunch menu is between two people however when we arrived the platters were split between three people. Then, we were told by management that if two people turn up they get to share a platter but if three people attend, that same platter needs to be shared between three. The service was incredibly slow however our waitress was lovely, it was the rest of the service such as the speed for the arrival of drinks and food that was poor. Also, considering we were asked to put our orders in before arriving to avoid our meals coming out late was not the case. The communication between all staff members including the reservations team was a The communication between all staff members including the reservations team was abysmal ; we were asked the same question by different people despite having told them about the food intolerance on our table and we waited half an hour for our starters and then almost 40 minutes for our mains. Luckily, one of the supervisors were very good at sorting out the bill to compensate for some of these issues, but I would not pay that price again for the portion sizes which were incredibly small and not good value for money.

We had a fantastic afternoon enjoying the set menu brunch, which included a three-course meal and the option for prosecco. It was amazing value for money! The food was lovely, and each course came out of the kitchen with perfect timing. Our glasses of prosecco were constantly topped up throughout the meal. Our waitress and the entire waiting staff provided outstanding customer service, making us all feel very welcome and special. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, with the DJ spinning house music, the Blue Marlin way. And finally, the dessert wowed us—it was mouthwatering!
