My husband and I are new residents of Balmoral and dined at the Blue Lagoon for the first time today. We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted at the door by the professional and personal Steve. The food was delicious and served in timely manner by efficient staff. Our dinner guests were equally pleased. Looking forward to dining often.

We had an amazing experience with Steven and Mystery. The customer service was too notch, and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious. I will return the next time I’m in Houston!

Great restaurant for date night. Enjoyed the oasis view, the saxophonist and the server John was awesome. The dining experiment was amazing and the Boudain egg rolls were the absolute best!!!!

We came for Wednesday wine down. The menu selections were limited and though Wine down was a great value, the selection was meat and pasta. It was too hot for spaghetti and meatballs. I do not eat red meat so this was not an option for me. We ordered an off menu, item wings! Our drinks were fabulous and we appreciated the manager coming over to take our suggestions and discuss the menu. We would go back again.

I celebrated my birthday here on 8/12 and it was sooooo nice. The service was exceptional! The food was very good. We had a variety of foods, from appetizers to full meals. The drinks were good. It’s a very nice ambiance! We had an awesome time. I would definately recommend Blue Lagoon @ Balmoral. Thanks Blue Lagoon for making an old lady feel young 😉😎

This restaurant has potential. However they are grossly understaffed. They’re one waitress serving indoors and outdoors on a Sunday at brunch time. It would have been nice if they would have given us both menus that were available in the time frame we were there. We didn’t know the lunch/dinner menu was available to choose from. They took over 30 minutes to make pancakes, bacon and eggs for my group. Then they had the audacity to bring it out cold. They didn’t bring out the food for my child until everyone else had finished their meal. It’s a shame. We really wanted to like this lol restaurant but we won’t be back.

The brunch menu was limited with not many options. I ordered the blueberry pancakes they were rubber. They had several flies inside the building making it hard to enjoy your meal.

Service is far… far… away of good service. It’s a shame. The facilities and ambience are so nice but service and food quality needs urgent attention. We arrived, took some drinks after wait more than 30 minutes for them and decided to leave. It’s the second time we visit them giving a second chance but nothing gets better.

The fish was dry, would have been better with a sauce. The plates were dirty once we sent them back they were clean. I can't say I will be returning but the staff was nice. I expected so much more. This restaurant could be so much better with a full menu. Good luck!

Our server was excellent. Can’t recall his name but he was patient with our party of 40 very professional overall outstanding. I will definitely reserve another event there. My family enjoyed their visit at Balmoral bar and grill and the Lagoon. Only down fall the live music was cancelled due to weather. “No worries we enjoyed either way”

Restaurant was severely understaffed. I made reservations and the host never even checked. I was told it would be a 20min. wait although I was on time. Had to get my own drinks from the bar because of the staffing shortage

Only speaking of the restaurant, there isn’t much to go off of. Menu does not have any good choices for food and drinks. Speciality drinks were watered down food was bland. The scenery was the best part. Staff was kind of just there.

Our waitress was very good keep apologizing it was almost an hour for food and the restaurant was not full. My daughter ordered VUDU fries they told us they ran out of fries after a long Waite for our order. Then they came and said fries came in and they fill the order so more Waite for food . The manger never came to say a word only our lovely waitress kept apologizing . My daughter went to the restroom and heard drama talk that she can hear coming out of the kitchen. It was our first and last experience here.

We love the concept: an oasis in the middle of suburbia. The theme was clear. However, there were a few things of note: 1. The menu is quite limited. It’s a small smattering of bar food with a seafood preference. Most offerings were of the spicy variety. The specials that day were wings and shrimp tacos. 2. There is way more outdoor seating than indoors. Our seats were dead center of the clubhouse. We saw everyone walking in and out, offices were within view and the movement often made us forget that we were at a restaurant. 3. For a fairy small clientele, the speed of delivery was a bit slow. Sure, it is not fast food, but I did not expect that much of a wait with such a limited menu. But, it could have felt longer because of the seating location and being seen by everyone. Overall, it’s not bad. The waiter was great. The bar drink was good. The food was good, and looking out to the lagoon was fine.
