   Highly recommend the Blue Crab. Dinner was excellent, service also excellent. we met friends for dinner and ended up sharing several appies rather than getting individual entres. The mussels and crab cakes were delicious, so was the hot pot. The only disappointment was the limited dessert menu, only two items, and neither were appealing. Will definitely go back.

   Had a wonderful table, terrific view, right by the window. The seafood pasta, salad and tuna dishes were all delicious. A terrific evening with friends.

   A million dollar view with a table in the corner. What more could you ask for?? The crab and lobster dip and calamari were all yummy and the service was good

   Fish was undercooked and steamer pot tasted bad. The calamari was most like fish fingers and didn’t taste like calamari at all. Despite leaving almost everything on our plates, except the fish which was replaced by a cooked portion, there was no question as to what was wrong or offer to deal with our disappointment. I will never return.

   This was are first time in the restaurant and being local here in Victoria and been trying different restaurants my family and I were so impressed by the ambiance and service, we will definitely coming back to this restaurant, thank you for a wonderful experience

   portion sizes were small. We ate at two other restaurants in the area and for the same price the crab cakes and mussells were significantly larger elsewhere.

    It’s a very nice restaurant, old fashion, and probably need some updating. The service is very good, they could improve on him. Kids menu and desserts. The fries were horrible, cold, dry, and tasteless. Eating there is quite expensive views from the windows are great do you pay for the food or the views, overall we enjoyed being there but found it very expensive for the amount of food that we ate two adults and one child $200

    Nice table at window… nice view… service was wonderful however bringing second course when first was barely done was a bit fast. That being said the Lovers Menu was good. The steak with lobster thermidor was good but not great.. as we have eaten at places like CUT (Wolfgang puck) so this was ok. Dessert was a nice treat and the wine lovely.

    Two highlights were the incredible Alaska king crab legs and the bottle of wine, both incredibly good quality. The server was knowledgeable and very attentive. Nice location with a view, though from our table we could not take advantage. We will be back next visit to Victoria!

    First time diner, and I have to say I don't feel like I will return. It was too much hype for what was produced. The food was over priced, the martini I ordered arrived and the glass was only half full and mediocre taste, the wait staff looked....how shall I say it...comfortable rather than sharp looking and professional. For the price I paid for dinner for two, I could have attended a chef's table and been much more satisfied. Quite disappointing really.

    The King Crab meal was absolutely AMAZING!! The best I’ve ever had!! Super fresh, sweet & nice portion!! Had the The seafood pot for an appy & was amazing aswell! The only meal that could a use a slight adjustment in my mind is tenderloin & lobster dish which didn’t come w a lobster tail (only lobster pieces) and also had a teriyaki type sauce drizzled over the entire meal which I don’t think was needed but I’ve always preferred a more simple steak & lobster dish-grilled with minimal seasoning & lobster served w butter :) but, the king crab and seafood pot was absolutely amazing!!, service was great aswell!! We will be back!!

    We celebrated 4 birthdays and a Christmas get together. We all enjoyed ourselves and our waiter was very attentive. We have had many a celebration her and enjoy the atmosphere.

    Chose this restaurant based on the menu posted in open table. The appetizers were accurately reflected but the entrées listed were not at all close to what was available when we arrived. The prices of the entrees were about double what was posted. Not impressed.

    Superb food, wonderful ambiance with harbour views, a little hectic outside the restaurant in the hotel lobby (people coming up from the pool, shirtless; dog walkers, that sort of thing), but that's outside the restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly.

    What a find! We strongly recommend Blue Crab for its quality, value, service and ambience. The tenderloin and lobster was to die for. The salads were flavorful yet appropriately restrained, as were the soups. And don't miss dessert. Everything was a hit!

    When we visit Victoria, the Blue Crab is always at the top of our list for dining. Their crab cakes are great. We had pistachio crusted halibut and for dessert, strawberry créme brulé. Everything was delicious. We'll be back again!

    Overall a good experience. Confusion over parking as the website states 2 hour free parking underground. Parked and went up to the restaurant and was told we had to pay the parking and then be reimbursed. Had asked for a window seat, however none were available. On reserving I mentioned it was a birthday dinner, but there was no mention of it by staff. I started with the green salad. It was okay, but the dressing lacked flavour. My spouse had the caesar salad which he enjoyed. I had the seafood pasta. It was quite garlicky, but I still enjoyed it. My spouse had the tuna and he said it was excellent. We shared a cheesecake, which was just okay. It seemed a little old.

    Loved the Location for a great final dinner. drinks were good. food not so much. a $40+ steak was not up to par... thin, over cooked and covered with a sauce ( way to kill a good steak). appetizers ( Crab and Lobster Dip) was delish but needed bread not chips. Crab Cakes were over priced... only two! and only 1/4 teaspoon of sauce. Hated to ask for more when only 2 were served. One of us was hungry when we left.

    Overall nice experience. Our waiter was great and the king crab legs were amazing. However the house/Caesar salads were mediocre and not worth adding on. We were there on Thanksgiving weekend so the menu was different than we anticipated so many of their normal offerings were not available.
