Needed better choice of appetizers.
Striped Bass is now my newest Favorite seafood. It was the special with Lobster rice and was so fabulous. I was disappointed cause my Veal dish or Baramundi was not on the menu but I left Very Happy.
Great food, great service. Go here once or twice a year and it is worth the 40 minute drive.
We went to enjoy the Restaurant Week special and it was fantastic!
Very good dinner. Had the cedar planked salmon and it was delicious
It was the perfect place for date night with my Husband. And the food was excellent!
I requested the patio which is beautiful but it was a cool day and a Monday so there weren't many people there but everything was very nice.
I have eaten grilled salmon for years, but this was the best EVER!!
The food we had was very good. However, the staff seemed to be overworked and spread out. We had to wait quite awhile for our server several times. The rainbow trout entree was delicious.
Moved back to the area after 5 years. Haven’t been here for a while and food was STILL excellent (clambake). We’ll be back again! Covid care was also done well.
view was wonderful, food and service exceptional.
Our clambakes were impeccable. We were seated on the covered patio with well-distanced seating. The servers wore masks and were very attentive, but not overly so. It was a perfect evening.
They’ve spaced the tables inside to provide distance between patrons. Originally booked a resv to sit outside but too cold. They were very attentive in keeping my apprised of the situation in advance of arrival. Drinks were generous and food enjoyable. Service was good.
Made a reservation online. Arrived and they were not even open.
Usually I'd give 5 stars, but that was very disappointing.
Our waiter Mel was fantastic! Ask for his section!
Very good, as usual
While the tables were spaced out the size of a table for 4 was VERY SMALL. It put us much close together than we thought it would be. There was not enough room for all of the dishes either. We had to keep asking for more things to be taken away.
Wide variety of food choices
Nice social distancing
Dined in terrace room because patio was full
Excellent service & food
Perfect early evening for dinner on the patio. Tables were appropriately socially distanced and all employees were wearing masks.
Drinks & food were delicious!
We usually love Blue Canyon, but this experience was not up to par. Our favorites weren’t even up to the usual standards. I guess covid 19 has affected everyone.
Friendly staff, quality food and an atmosphere we enjoy.
Excellent Happy Hour specials. Service was lacking by our main server. Seemed like the only one in the Lodge Area.
My daughter’s 18th birthday!
From the staff to the ambiance, and of course delicious food on the outside patio, each time is a perfect date night with my husband. Love love they are extra careful with COVID as I have a few leaky heart valves; felt completely comfortable on patio dining.
The food was excellent. My wife had the crusted trout that had previous positive reviews and she was not disappointed. I ordered the scallops and they were just as good and well prepared, without being overdone. Our big disappointment was our initial reception by the hostess. I had requested outdoor dining in my reservation weeks prior to our arrival and the Blue Canyon had called me the day prior to our reservation to confirm our reservation and at that time, they committed to seating us on their patio for outside dining. Imagine my surprise when we arrived to be told that the Blue Canyon double books their reservations and your reservation made weeks earlier and our commitment the day before to seat you outside didn't mean anything. Only after telling them this was unacceptable and waiting for 15 minutes, we were seated outside. It took the shine off the entire dining experience
Great patio! One of my favorites in all of Northeast Ohio! Excellent service! Great food!
Didn’t disappoint.. the GO TO pretzel crusted trout was good... but has had more flavor.
Is silly to ask people to wear masks when they walk 20 feet to their table. Only to take them off immediately. Bad business!
Great atmosphere, amazing food! We cannot wait to go back and enjoy the ambiance!
Always consistently great food and friendly service! Conveniently located near I-480 and Rt. 82. Not your typical American fare but a few staples are always available. Unique cocktails and rich log cabin environment.
Always a great place to go with the ambiance. All their dishes are great!
Just average food. Have been to many other restaurants in area that have better food and lower cost.
Food and Service is always great at Blue Canyon. The restaurant week deal was what brought us back again.
The final bill was a bit high with what we were expecting. Downtown prices on beer and alcohol are standard so it wasn't a total surprise.
Still, Blue Canyon is a highly recommended and excellent restaurant.
We will return for certain.
We love this place. The chef & his offerings are superior and creative. Their monthly wine tastings with food are wonderful. My only complaint is that we came for my birthday, March 9th, and chose the restaurant week menu. All was great except for my pork tenderloin medallions. While 1 piece was nice and tender, one was so tough it was hard to cut/chew. The flavors were spectacular but that one piece of meet was dreadful. Also as I Made our reservation on Reso I was asked if it was a special occasion. I checked off birthday and yet nothing was said to me by anyone when we arrived or during our meal. Why ask about the special occasion if you’re not going to mention it or offer a complimentary drink or dessert? All in all I still love this place and this was only 1 bad experience so I still highly recommend Blue Canyon!
Very nice dinning experence! Great bar and cocktails! Had a problem with our appetizer, the waiter forgot to put it in, but , owned up to it and compt our wine and threw in a great desert. My attitude is no one is perfect, but he made it right. We will be going back for sure.
One thing, valet service would be a nice addition.
Great dinner! Gina was excellent.
everything was very good but the price of the entrees seemed high to me.
Blue Canyon will never ever disappoint from smiling waitresses, like Krissa and Kami, to delicious food served up perfectly paired with a fabulous cocktail from the bar. They are always accommodating and patio on a summer eve is so nice!
Great place to take your wife, girlfriend, future wife and propose there.
Went in for Happy Hour - great service and food!
Delicious food and fabulous service as always!! Its definitely worth the 2 hour drive for us!
