Chosen because of its proximity to Westminster Abbey I just could not believe what a superb venue for comfort this proved to be. Roast beef of the highest quality with vegetables at their best. Fantastic value for money in comfortable surroundings with plenty of space between tables.

Good location, cool inside, large interior but not crammed with tables, bar menu suitable for children, not cheap but great for special occasions

Very large meat portion in the Sunday roast dish with all the trimmings. Various condiments available on request. Small but varied wine list

Excellent food and service, although some dishes are a bit difficult to eat elegantly! The coronation chicken sandwich was beautiful but messy to eat. Worth it, though. All lovely.
