We visited for a quick bite to eat before a show. We were seated quickly and the hostess/server was very nice. The drinks were all served timely and the food (flatbreads and fried pickles) tasted great.
The lower rating was for two items 1) it seemed something was spilled on one of the chairs we were seated at and not cleaned appropriately. The rest of the restaurant looked clean but it started the visit off poorly. 2) one of the flat bread orders was missed. This may have been a minor oversight but with only one server it may also be due to trying to do to much.
I would go back as the food was good and service friendly.
Great Place, Great Food, Great Service! I will definitely be back!
Drinks were good, food was alright. Took a very long time to get food, servers were very nice. Was very loud.
Fun place, good food and drinks. Great atmosphere.
Enjoyed our dinner! Really good food and great cocktails menu.
Food and service were good. Only complaint is the space is not super comfortable has a sort of cold feel. Maybe it is the color palate? Not sure, just was not relaxing, but with friendly servers and pretty tasty food I will go back.
Extremely slow service, which is probably due to understaffing just like everywhere else. Our server was good, he just had too much to do that he couldn’t get to us much. Food was pretty good.
more a bar than a restaurant but he food was EXCELLENT and the service friendly.
BluAqua was a pleasant surprise. We had a great waiter, though all the staff chipped in to help. My son loved the fish and chips. The fries were perfect - non greasy and well seasoned. I had the combo gumbo. Lots of chicken, shrimp and sausage, and the heat was the right amount. The chocolate flourless cake was to die for.
This restaurant has tons of potential!!!
Great location right on elm with big glass doors that open out to the street. Our waitress was wonderful, very nice and attentive.
Unfortunately things were just a little bit off,
The glass windows were really dirty and on a nice warm night could have been left open for diners to enjoy a more al fresco experience.
The sound level was loud, dining area and bar are in the same space with no division, and the hard floors cause an echo that makes it hard for diners to have a more intimate experience dining. Probably not much that could be done about this structurally but again if doors had been left open this might have reduced some of the echo.
Food was good but nothing amazing, and took a very long time to come out. The food was hot when it arrived, and I don’t believe our waitress was at fault, I think the kitchen was just very slow which is not surprising in this current climate with staffing being so hard. We sipped our drinks from the bar and enjoyed the time anyway.
Bottom line, we will possibly try this place again but hope they can make some small improvements in the future.
Food was outstanding. Great place to get some good food and check out a game. Nashville Chicken sandwich is done perfectly. Make sure you have a water or beer to go with it. Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.
One of my biggest surprises lately! There is absolute nothing we can’t criticize. I had researched per open table, I like that I can use that app. Upon arriving, we kind of questioned the bar like feel, but realized we were amongst comfortable company. The young waitstaff were on top of their game. Ours was very attentive, on time, checked back, did all of the right things. The menu was very much to our liking, thus the restaurant selection, and everything we has was prepared perfectly. We has Buffalo cauliflower for a starter, highly recommend…..
Grilled romaine salad that we shared, again highly recommend,,
One of us had steak and substituted vegetables for a side vs potatoes. Steak and asparagus were perfectly cooked, the other swordfish with Brussels and rice another hit.
Everything was perfect, service, quality, quantity, and correct cook, . Even the wine was great.
We are from away, but will look to returning ASAP.
Food was great. 4 of us at the table and all plates cleared! Key lime pie a hit also.
Food, service drinks were great. Location was good. Would go again
We were so disappointed with our dinner here. It was not what we expected at all. The bartender working was the only good part of our dinner - and the appetizers.
This place has so much potential. I hope they turn it around.
This is my second time coming here and it was just as good as the first. I love the atmosphere and the aesthetic of the restaurant. The food is great, my favorite thing is the Mexican street corn. It’s a must have. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to. I can see BluAqua becoming a regular choice for me.
Good food although less of a locale for eating good southern style food and more for drinking
Great food, great sour beers, nice place! Would definitely eat here again!
Chelsey was a great wait person!
Great bartenders! Great service! Great food!!
Food was great and Maya was a great server! Thank you!
Staff was wicked nice! The drinks were really good too, and the pulled pork nachos were delicious!
Burger was fantastic and very filling…..love the fried pickles. Short rib tacos were dry with little flavor. Our server was fantastic, but fell short at the end. We waited close to 15 minutes after we were finished our meals before she came to ask if we wanted anything else. Once we had the bill, we continued to wait until my husband finally brought it up to the hostess.
Food was excellent! Highly recommend the street corn and the skirt steak with chimichurri!
Great food and great drinks!
Decent beer list, moderately priced food and drinks, and the food was great. Sports were on the TVs and there was plenty of room at our table despite a large party. Would happily come back.
I had to leave a 2 star because the rating system says it's a 2 if it "could've been better", and it was a shame how this whole thing went down.
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE the style and ambiance of this place. It's beautiful inside. The menu was not very big, and only had one steak option - hanger steak. I almost got it, but it came with fries and I didn't feel like that. So I got the short rib street tacos. They were very small, but they were good. They could have been improved with some kind of sauce, but they were good. The corn was a fun touch, but was soggy, messy and not that great. We also shared the shrimp & grits. We are big fans of the dish in general. Here, it was good, could have used some salt and there was none on the table, but we ate it all and did enjoy it.
So what went wrong you ask- ok - our server, a blond with short shorts on was fairly clueless about the beer selection and after my husband decided on one, she came back with my drink about 10 minutes later and said they needed to change the keg for that one. We placed our order at that time. Around 10 minutes later she comes by and says "would you like to order something?" (jaws drop) "uhm yes we ordered earlier, do you remember what it was?" She says, "ooooh, I must have put it in." She had clearly forgotten about his drink, so I said to him, "would you like something else to drink?" she said they hadn't changed the keg yet. He ordered another beer he didn't really want and got it after our food came, which was about 5 minutes after she walked away that last time. Thank god she put the order in, because she sure as hell didn't write anything down. She's not good enough at serving to be running around without writing orders. She ruined what could have been a great experience. However, the menu wasn't what we like, so we probably won't be coming back.
Excellent food and service!
Great drinks!! Good Food!!! Have to get help in the kitchen…. Waited 45 min for apps and another 45 for dinner…..takes away from a great place!
Wow! This food is delicious and so unique to Manchester! Our waitress Courtney was the best. We had all types of food and appetizers. Chicken and waffles, fish and chips, tacos- all delicious and fresh. Can’t wait to return.
The cocktails were great. We had stuffed pepperochini for a starter. It was delicious. We had gumbo and the salmon for dinner and they were both spot on. We will definitely be returning. Great food, drinks and great service!
Wouldn’t have thought I’d find New Orleans fare on Elm in Manchester, but here it is. Enjoyed a tasty sampling of dishes, will be back!
Food was ok, one dinner was extremely small (fish tacos) while the fish & chips had a large serving of fish which was delicious with thin breading. The ambiance wasn’t what I expected, much more casual and very loud. My glass of wine was barely drinkable because the glass had such a soap smell and taste. Our cosmos and beer were fine though, no soap smell at all.
We had a great time! Food was very good. Service was very helpful with our food decisions. Would recommend to everyone!
The service and ambience was great all the servers were warm and friendly
Food was amazing can’t wait to go back
Great atmosphere, great service but food was mediocre.
My steak was cook perfectly but they served a perfect steak with freezer isle fries. This was a date night and the music was loud.
My wife and I ate here for dinner. The menu is limited; however, everything we had was fresh and prepared properly. My wife is a vegetarian and they had multiple options for her. I had the wings with the dry rub as a starter and they were very good. My wife had the cauliflower wings in Buffalo sauce and said they were excellent. For dinner I had the pulled pork sandwich. It had a lot of bbq sauce on it, which I like, but others my prefer it dry. The brioche role it was served on was nicely toasted and delicious. My wife had the Greek pizza and enjoyed it.
The atmosphere is odd. It’s like they are trying to be too many things. There are TV’s everywhere, like a sports bar, but then there is an elegant fish tank. Then there is a huge bar with a great craft beer selection next to an upscale dining area. Should I have a sport coat on or a tee shirt?
The service was good and we will be back.
Fun, interesting drinks, and DELICIOUS food. We ate outside which was great, but Elm Street has to do something about the obnoxious motorcycles and cars that intentionally revved their engines while we were eating.
We had a table reserved but ended up dining at
the bar. This was our second time at this location (we used to visit you in Amherst) the apps were on point tuna tartare, Buffalo cauliflower and stuffed pepperoncinni’s. Main meals were just as good from burgess to
Fish chips and chicken sandwiches. Our server Michael was informative, funny, efficient!!! I think we would go back just for him. All over great experience and can’t wait to go back
