Excellent happy hour and dinner spot! Great selection of wines, cocktails, appetizers and main dishes. Service was quick, professional and knowledgeable! We will be back for sure!
Always consistent, home atmosphere place and great food
Given the current conditions governing on-site dining, the restaurant did a really good job. We opted to dine upstairs which, while a bit noisy given a large group of teens enjoying their evening, was a good choice to maintain distance among others. The food and service (Sam) were really nicely done. Great variety in a reasonable-sized menu. We enjoyed the cauliflower starter, then prawn tagliatelle and the salmon mains. The Nebbiolo (Langhe) on the by glass menu was really notable too.
Wonderful dinner as always!
My wife & really enjoyed our dinner night out at Blu Sardinia. We'd never tried it before and were not disappointed. We had three appetizers (Peroni Cauliflower, garlic & parm flat bread and giant meatballs) and all were quite good. My prawns and pasta dish was excellent and my wife really enjoyed her Risotto. Lastly, we were blown away by the Pumpkin Flan with caramel that we enjoyed with an aperitif walnut liqueur that tasted like a walnut-infused port called Aggazzoti Modena. We'll definitely go back!
We LOVE this place, especially because we can try new things on the menu each time we return. We are always pleasantly surprised by the authentic Sardinian dishes. Our server, RACHEL, is always knowledgeable and helpful.
This is one of our “go to” spots. Good food, great service, and good ambiance. What else do you want in a pandemic?
We had a wonderful first experience at Blu Sardinia. My partner is a high school English teacher who is very rarely getting out during this crazy time of remote learning. It was a fantastic date for us and we look forward to returning for other dates and special occasions.
Our server did a fantastic job of being attentive without being overbearing. They made great recommendations on food.
I work in the wine industry and appreciate the quality and pricing of the wines on the wine list. It’s obvious that a lot of care and thought goes into that list. We loved the bottle of Corte alla Flora Loggioto. Also, props to our server who had a few brief tasting notes memorized when we asked about specific wines deeper into the bottle list.
We had the house salad, lamb shank, butternut squash “bundles,” and the “donuts” for dessert (sorry, I’m forgetting the actual name of the dessert.) All delicious.
Always a pleasure, good friendly service, excellent food!
Ate outside on a lovely evening. Seated at four to enjoy the warm afternoon.
Had a wonderful socially-distanced outdoor dinner at our favorite neighborhood place last night. Outstanding food and we are always treated so very well. Will go back because of the service, the food and the fact that they are a block away.
food and craft cocktails are awesome! Wait staff is friendly and awesome
This was the first night out of isolation and I was excited for date night! This place had great reviews, so figured we’d give it a shot. Service was not great, tables seated after us were served before us (tried not to notice that tables of white diners were served with more speed, diligence and care than ours). Server forgot us on several occasions and brought my boyfriend the incorrect wine. My salmon was painfully over cooked. The sear was so heavy that it just tasted of char. Very under seasoned. The caper berries were delicious though. My boyfriend’s lamb shank was also horribly under seasoned and his polenta was dry and disappointing. Thankfully we really enjoy each other’s company, so we had a nice time anyway; but VERY disappointing.
In the midst of all this Covid shutdown they made it a very nice.
I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the current weird COVID environment, but this most recent experience was not good. We have eaten here many times and loved everything about it, but not this time.
We both ordered the chicken saltenboca, I also, ordered a Caesar salad and the meatball appetizer. The waitress did that ‘not writing anything down’ thing they seem to like and soon the salads arrived. Both salads were fine, fresh, very crunchy. No meatballs. Salads were brought by one of the wait staff.
Next came the chicken. Wow. Bad news. The chicken was over cooked and very dry and really lacked flavor. The veggies were the saving grace, they were good in the sauce. The chicken was truly terrible though. Still no meatballs so when the wait staff person came by to fill our waters I told him that i think they forgot my meatball appetizer. The actual waitress came by 2-3 minutes later to apologize and told me they would be right out. Before I could tell her to forget it as dinner was kinda over, she left. A good 10 minutes later the meatballs came out. Not good news. At first they were so hot that they couldn’t be eaten so i had to let them cool off for about 5 minutes. They were still toO hot but I started eating what i could. They were as flavorless as cardboard. They looked great but lacked any actual taste.
The waitress came by to apologize again.
When the bill came they had ‘comped’ the meatballs, which is what I would expect, but I am actually more concerned with the overall quality of the food. It may be a while before we return.
Oh, and the pen that came with the bill didn’t work. Of course it didn’t......
Easily some of the best food and drinks on the Eastside esp. Redmond
It was a great service. We really appreciate their composure and friendly service during these challenging times
Sort menu, not too much into “Sardinia” but ok. Good wine list
Service and food was exceptional. We sat outside and watched the sunset too.
This is me and my boyfriend’s favorite restaurant. We come here for all of our special occasions.
Every bit of the food is amazing, we always leave empty plates and feel perfectly full and satisfied!
Great food, great service, helpful staff, good management!
Great happy hour. Tasty food and really great service.
We sat outside on the sunny side. Small outdoor section but nice. The beer battered fried cauliflower is amazing. Super friendly staff.
Love this place! Great cocktails, great food, great staff. I always have a good experience here.
It was our first time out dining since COVID-19. We picked this for our anniversary and we are glad to we did. The food was fabulous including appetizers, main serving and dessert. We had amazing and personalize service from Rachel. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere we just the right amount of background music.
All our dishes were over grilled and bitterly as a result
The quality is superb, the service is friendly and they are doing a great job of making everyone feel comfirtable during socual distancing!
We had a lovely quiet dinner on the patio. As always food, wine, cocktails were excellent. It’s our “go to “ restaurant.
Blu Sardinia never disappoints. Great service and food as always!
I had a Sea Bass special that was so masterfully done that I think it may have been the best seafood I’ve had in a decade.
Great place, we come here often. Also, the Short Rib Ravioli is very good (one of their most popular dishes and for good reason.)
Our favorite restaurant. Food is always great and they have a wide selection of Italian wines.
We took our girl friend there for her birthday. She had never been there before and wanted a quiet place with good food, She loved it. Our waiter was great.
We had a nice bday celebration with yummy food and efficient service.
As usual, a great meal at Blu Sardinia!
Food was delicious, service was very good...will go back again.
Noise level a bit high.
Great food, Great staff.... Can't wait to go again!
Rachel our server was wonderful. Salmon from the menu and angel hair pasta special were delicious. Salads, just ok. Dessert lemon torte and caffe affogato were yummy. Recommend the burrata appetizer.
Nice service, nice smiles, delicious food
Our party of six ladies thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Blu Sardinia! My rating would have been five stars in all areas except for the fact that we were celebrating the birthdays of two of our ladies. This was stated on my reservation, and I thought there would be at least a small appreciation of each birthday, so it was disappointing to me that nothing appeared.
We had to ask for bread with our meal multiple times but otherwise service was friendly and quick. This is a nice everyday restaurant but nothing too fancy. We had a great deal because of the MS prime card.
