Sally made our first experience there extra special. She was so kind, respectful and helpful. She gave us great service and our food was perfect. Great job!
Excellent evening once the Japanese family took their screeching two-year old out of the dining room and down to the pool
Been to this restaurant many times and still love it!!!
Amazing dining experience and outstanding service. The restaurant catered to my dietary restrictions which was really appreciated by me. The view was unreal as it faces the Hawaiian sunset. Highly recommended this place for a pleasurable experience.
The location was great, but the food was not up to the typical BLT standard. I have enjoyed meals at this chain in Las Vegas and DC- both times I was quite satisfied with the food and service.
Particularly disappointing was the popovers. When we received ours, one was lukewarm, thick and very hard. It was as though it hard been cooked the day before, frozen and then defrosted. The other popover was close , warm, thickness was correct- but again, very hard.
I ordered a steak, and it was not exceptional. Needless to say, I would not order it again.
Pleasant attentive service.
Just want to stop and check out the place. It was fun and interesting
We enjoyed the view and foods.
The waitress was so helpful to
order dinner for my friend.
Wasn't the experience I was expecting. There were children yelling in the pool that is 10 feet away from you. The food was underwhelming, fish was extremely dry.
Beautiful view, beautiful dining space, but our entrees were really bad.... bland, over cooked. Really disappointing.
Fantastic New Year's Eve experience! The sommelier was incredible with service, detail and knowing exactly what I was looking for. Delicious fish of the day selection. Sweet potatoes are a must as a side dish!
Horrible services, high prices. We went to BLT Market twice - once for Thanksgiving and once between Christmas & New Years. Both times the service was very poor. Forgotten orders, hour long wait between courses, starters and mains brought out at the same time. I have been to BLT across the US and this place is completely subpar. The lack of care they put into service is shocking. Also, we had meat jus spilled on my daughter without any offer to pay for cleaning her clothes and silverware dropped on the floor. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Honolulu. This is not one of them. This is a sinkhole for your money.
Service was slow even when half the restaurant had cleared out. The papaya sunrise cocktail had not papaya taste. The chicken and pork shank were both tough and should be a lot more tender. Fish and beets were good. Nice view of high rises.
It was a worst dining experience in Hawaii. I can’t believe they are in Ritz Carlton. I assume Ritz isn’t running this restaurant (I hope).
We had a booking at 8 pm and our first dish came about an hour later. With no apologies. The waiter was even forgot to bring bread. There was a group people sitting next to us and they were literary talking like screaming each other. It was our Christmas Eve dinner and totally ruined it. I order halibut but it was the most dry fish I ever had. I would never come back to this place. Totally waste my money and time. Sorry for Ritz Carlton if they are not managing this restaurant.
As requested by the birthday celebrant, we decided to dine in at BLT Market. The place was empty when we came in and after a while 3 couples came in. Food was awesome! Cook with perfection! Great customer service and very polite servers.
We enjoyed our dinner and if you want to experience a new food taste in your palate, I would recommend this place.
We’ve eaten at BLT Market twice, and both times were disappointing, to say the least. The very minimum I expect for restaurant service is for my order to be taken and the food I order to be brought to me in a timely manner, and somehow BLT Market cannot manage to meet even this bare minimum of expectation. The food, though lavishly presented, was not well or freshly cooked or well seasoned, which is another disappointing departure for the BLT brand. We will not be returning to this BLT venue ever again.
good staff & view
and very delicious meal
This is my second time dining at BLT Market. The restaurant has beautiful views of the ocean, the park, and Waikiki. Since this is a farm-to-table restaurant, the foods tasted fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, and our waiter, Dalton, was attentive. I would definitely recommend BLT Market.
I am sure a lot of guests may be annoyed or too lazy to leave a comment. However, this is one restaurant where I feel like it may be worth my time to be writing this. Overall, it was a very negative dining experience where we were welcomed with unprofessional service and poor quality food. Most staff presented themselves with an unprofessional attitude, bad facial expression and absolute lack of formality. Will never go back nor recommend to friends/family. This is not some casual neighbourhood restaurant ($). Ritz Carlton should perhaps consider bringing in a much better restaurant chain if they wish to perhaps raise or maintain their standards.
Friendly bar staff. Good cocktails , escargot.
Fabulous waitstaff. Bone in Ribeye was cooked perfectly for us. Charred med/rare
Table side Caesar a must do.
We had a booth for 2.
Husband 1st time and says we will always go back.
Ex-chef stopped by. All good.
Go, you will not be sorry.
Great food with local ingredients from Hawaii.
Excellent service with personal attention.
Enthusiastic wine program and server/sommelier.
10-year-old son nicely accomadated.
Manager visited our table.
Great openaire eatery with yummy food and excellent service. We were surprised by a fireworks display while we dined to boot!
Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had the five course tasting menu, which was delicious. The service was impeccable, but not stuffy and off-putting. The staff was so friendly and the cocktails unique, but drinkable. It was our anniversary and they couldn't be nicer about making us feel special and pampered. Would definitely go back.
The place was great. Very airy, serene, beautiful view of Honolulu and the ocean. The food was tasty and eye pleasing. We had our last day of vacation dinner there. And I think it was a perfect mix of casual and fancy. Perfect for family dinners or dates. The place suggests more intimate conversations and great wine paired with great fresh flavors. But if you are looking for super bold flavors and vibrant crowd, that will not be a right place.
The food was fantastic. The service was impeccable. As a former fine dining server, (dining with a fine dining manager) I LOVE well executed service. I am horrible with names, but our (lady) server didn't miss a step, quietly ensuring everything we needed arrived before we needed it and disappeared when we didn't. I was in heaven! Thank you
I was really disappointed with the menu.
They didn't have a dish which I expected.
It was supporsed to be surved everyday.
That menu was Pork Shank.
Very attentive staff... from the receptionist, the manager and our three servers (especially Ivana). Nice birthday treat for my wife and complimentary coconut lemon macaroons. Love the natural sodas as well. Highly recommend.
Service was great. Parking was confusing. We were sent to the valet area but no one was there. Ended up parking my car myself to find out I shouldn't have. Restaurant seems to be above the pool so you could hear all of the noise from kids at the pool. Not a bad thing because kids having a great time is a nice noise to hear but not what I expected to accompany a $58 steak.
