Local lore suggests Broad Street was home to many houses of “ill repute” throughout the years. In 1992, ninety-nine years after the first “Blind Tigers” appeared, the “Blind Tiger Pub” opened in its current location, paying homage to a historic tradition.
Despite changing hands several times throughout the years, the Blind Tiger Pub has always remained a fixture of Charleston society. In 2016, after painstaking restoration, the “Blind Tiger Pub” was reborn. Striving to continue to honor the legacy of its previous caretakers, we invite you to join us in celebrating this Charleston institution.
Need to book at 8:15 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
The steak sandwich was A+. The truffle duck sandwich and burger were also delicious!
I was very disappointed to arrive a few minutes before my reservation time and be seated right outside of the kitchen. There were numerous open tables that seated two.
Also, there was only one working restroom so a line was formed right next to us of people loudly complaining about bathroom problems.
We ordered a duck sandwich that my husband and I both agreed tasted off. When we asked to have that item taken off our bill, the waiter suggested we had never had duck before.
Overall was very disappointed....
The food, drinks, and service are always so amazing. Love this place so much!
Our favorite mid-afternoon spot in Charleston. Almost don't want anyone to find out about it...
Service was amazing, food is always great and the atmosphere is perfect.
We love sitting outdoors and enjoying the weather, the view, and the outdoor bar and ring toss game!
We make it a point to go there every time we're in town!
Terrible place. Very unlike the rest of Charleston
Really fun day, outstanding food, the server was sweet but seemed a little overwhelmed and took a while to get back to us. LOVED the back patio to relax with a glass of beer after eating our brunch. We will return and recommend!
Best place for food and drink in Charleston. Wait staff and bartenders are top notch.
excellent food and drink! Great environment! Brunch is great!
I am vegan and the server’s only suggestion was fries. She volunteered no accommodations. I found salad and a side of fruit on my own. There had to have been more options.
Delicious food with great service. I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Great service and tasty food.
Had a great time at Blind Tiger. Food was great as was the service. Loved the environment as well! Highly recommend!
Best meal we had while in Charleston. Service was great. Sat on the patio. Perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors (even in late December)
Always great food and service. We are hooked on the hamburger but we need to try some other dishes that look terrific!
We really enjoyed the appetizers and cocktails. We decided not to eat dinner since they really do not have a gluten free menu.
Good food and price is right but tooo loud and waitress never came back to check on us once food was served even though it was not busy.
Would have liked a second Bloody Mary🙄
We had a wonderful brunch at Blind Tiger. Our reserved table on the outdoor patio was ready for us when we arrived. Jayla answered all our questions about the menu and made sure we had water and a meal option for our dog, The Duck Hash and the Quiche of the day were delicious and very filling. The Truffle Parmesan frites are a wonderful appetizer before the meal, along with the mimosas ! The food came out fast and the ambience was perfect. This is one of our favorites! We will be back!
Great good and atmosphere! I would definitely return!
Food was really good and we have been there for brunch now several times. Getting our food took some time, but all i all we are satisfied with this really good restaurant.
This is a dude’s bar. High top seating only with wonky stools. Bring your trucker hat. Shout your order to the waiter and you’ve got a 50-50 shot of getting the right food. Anything other than a beer order is a mystery to the bar tenders.
Best food in Charleston hands down. I ate until I was sick. Great drinks and lovely outdoor seating but we felt like an after thought to the staff.
I am keto and could not find anything with low carbs that sounded appealing. We ended up leaving. Was too loud and they offered to turn down music.
The service and the food were very good. Basically a great bar that serves food. We were there on a Sunday night...the slowest night of the week! It was on the noisy side but probably if we were 20 years younger...we would have liked it a lot. Big beer selection and small meal selection. If you are going for a quiet dinner, this isn’t the place but if you are going for more nightlife this is your place.
Great pub...it's a pub, not an extensive menu but what they make they make really well, get the truffle fries. Lots of beer and cocktail choices and our server Christian was fantastic. Nice and casual.
Other than being loud, it was great!
Loved it. Food great. Nice waitress.
First off I’d like to thank Danielle the amazing hostess, she had it together and was so patient.
Maddie our waitress was so dang friendly, I loved her. She took pride in her job, service and was there promptly to take all of our orders.
And she delivered the check when we asked her, we didn’t have wait twenty minutes.
BLT was great, a great spin, two separate piles, served on a 1/2 inch of a sliced tomato on a bed of arugula. A poached egg on top of a crispy piece of pork belly with Hollandaise sauce. It was fantastic.
The burger was cooked well and was tasty, The Parmesan truffle fries were huge hit at the table. The duck confit hash was also delicious with the little new potatoes.
They have a full bar, restaurant, we sat in the back courtyard and it was beautiful. I love this place, I love Charleston, and I WOULD recommend going here.
Dirty, poor service. First Ones to arrive and seated outside the kitchen. Asked for the fan to be turned down. Ignored. Something wasn’t great with the food as I dealt with an upset stomach the rest of the day. Won’t return.
Great experience, service was awesome. Moscow Mule a must.
Delicious food, gorgeous courtyard and the $10 Mimosa carafes were the perfect brunch partner 👌 Service was fab, attentive, quick and full of recommendations! Would 100% recommend
Excellent service and very good good, especially the truffle frites and argula salad.
We enjoyed the food. I wish I realized I should have booked a table outside instead of inside. The outside patio was super cool. The inside was nothing special. The one complaint I have about the experience was the fan above us was on high and blowing our hair in our faces while we eat. I asked the server if she could turn it down a bit and she said she couldn’t because she had no idea how it worked?? A little frustrated that she didn’t get someone that did know how the fan worked to turn it down a bit. Other than that the food was excellent and I would love to go back and sit outside.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend
Friends were in town and wanted something casual and low key. The Blind Tiger was perfect! They have plenty of menu options and are budget friendly.
The menu is limited, but the food is delicious. I could eat the brussels sprouts and nothing else, they were so good! I had the chicken avocado club, my daughter had the hamburger and my granddaughter had the steak sandwich. We all agreed that our meals were delicious. Our server was so sweet, I wanted to adopt her! Great dining experience.
Very innovative and delicious sandwich options. A very good selection of appetizers as well, I recommend the bleu chips.
I would come back here over and over again. The outdoor area looks like a dream, it is so beautiful. It was one of the best brunches i've been to since moving here. Loved it!
Vacation great space friendly service...excellent burger and drinks
Our Waiter was so nice. Food was good, especially the oysters! Way too noisy. Not comfortable chais so
not encouraged to linger.
