   Lousy initial service; wait person dropped the ball; we waited 25 minutes after seating for anyone to take our orders; hostess took over and made it all better.

   Food was excellent. The mussel appetizers was outstanding! We brought our own wine, so we didn't have a chance to experience Blair's selection, but a quick look at the list showed a very nice selection. The donut dessert was out of this world good! A great spot for a romantic evening or a small group gathering.

   A terrific local restaurant. Great food, wine, wait service, lovely ambience. And consistently all the time.

   Going anywhere on a holiday is always a roll of the dice, and the staff at Blair's seemed a bit overwhelmed. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated (with a reservation)...they didn't bring our wine until our appetizers arrived, cleared the appetizers before everyone had finished, brought the main course just moments later, forgot one of our side dishes until we reminded them and never cleared dirty bread plates and glasses as dessert arrived--and brought us someone else's check instead of a dessert menu. Our server was friendly, but it felt like they needed at least one more busboy. Food was solid, though in sum not quite as good as previous meals I've had here. I'd certainly come back, but not on a holiday.
