   We were there on a Sunday night, very quiet, only 2 other tables occupied. Our waiter was very nice, but our service was not good. Our order was messed up and the food came out very late. The chef was actually finished for the night having a drink at the bar and our steaks were just sitting in the kitchen. As a result, they were over cooked. Nice menu, love bistros, but not sure why they are allowing this one to fail.

   thank you for the good food expressed by chef Andrea, he greeted us with a beautiful smile and made you feel at home, my guests were enthusiastic about the restaurant, the waiters kind and attentive, what I don't understand by reading other comments what you really are looking for in a restaurant! probably even if something is not quite right it would be enough to talk to a manager without writing things that I think are not true! thanks again for my lunch !!! perfect we'll be back soon!

   When we sat down, there was a bar menu on the table that listed wines by the glass. When our server, Vivima, saw us looking at it, she asked it we wanted a wine list. I asked if the wine list offered wines by the glass in addition to those on the bar menu. She said yes. When she brought the wine list, it showed exactly the same wines by the glass as the bar menu. We then ordered the only Chardonnay on the menu, and some appetizers. The appetizers were fine, but the wine was mediocre. We then ordered our entrees and I ordered lamb chops. A few minutes later, I realized that Vivima hadn’t asked how I wanted my lamb chops cooked. It took about five minutes until I was able to flag her down. I told her to please I wanted my lamb chops cooked medium. She said fine, but came back a few minutes later to tell me that the restaurant had run out of lamb chops. This was at 6:45 on a Saturday night. I’m guessing that if I hadn’t asked Vivima to make sure my lamb was cooked medium, I probably wouldn’t have found out that they were out of lamb chops until they brought my wife’s entree. I then ordered a pasta dish (the sauce had too much sugar in it) and asked to see the wines by the glass to pick out a red. Someone else brought it, but the page with wines by the glass was missing. I again asked for the list. I was told, “just tell me what kind of wine you want.” I again asked for the list and ordered a red. When Vivima brought it, she picked up my glass of white, even though it was half full. I grabbed it from her hand cause I had planned on finishing it. I asked if she was just starting as a server as she should ask if someone is done with a glass that still has wine in it before removing it. She said no, that she was an experienced server. This made her actions inexcusable. After we finished our meal, she asked if we wanted anything else. I said, “no, we’re all set.” About 10:minutes later, she returned and asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu.

   Service was excellent until when it came for dessert and coffee they took for ever to deliver it and for forever to bring the check and at the end there was an error on the check .. waited additional 10 min to fix it.... they wanted to make it by buying us drinks by that time we were exhausted wanted to leave and they said next time u come we give u drinks on the house... well how are they going to remember us ... its best to give a discount of the check or give a coupon or raincheck. This way they back up what they say.

   we reserved a table for curiosity !!! we know the Blackstones steakhouse, but we had not tried the BISTRO. the environment just entered we immediately liked it, fresh, and open. a sunny girl greeted us with a smile, made us sit abroad on a private patio, brought us the menu and immediately we realized that in this place there is the hand of an Italian person, after all we are also Italians, the choice is complete, we had read some negative comments, so we were skeptical, but at the end of our lunch we can only say that everything we ordered was perfect, hard to find such places !!! to those who wrote that it was not to his liking I would like to know what is where they eat !!? !! a restaurant in SONO with an Italian chef where can you find it? we met him because in the end he came to say goodbye, thanks Andrea for how you made us eat, we'll be back for sure together with other friends !!    menu looks fabulous; execution of the food generally very poor. We own a restaurant. Chef obviously cannot make an Italian red sauce.

   I was very excited to try this new restaurant. After being seated my friend and I were personally visited by the chef. A true Italian speaking Chef dressed in the white chef outfit! He told us about some things he could make That we would enjoy. We said yes. Everything came out great a good amount of food for the price we even took some home I would definitely say this spot is worth a try!

   A lot of people in training on this Saturday night. The bartender in charge appeared to be the only one who knew how to make Drinks. Out waitress was a nube and had to be replaced with someone more experienced. I had the steak with arugula and grated cheese. Never saw anything like it. Slices of meat with arugula on top and some cheese. That was it. And the other two had bolognse with papardelli. Not very good sauce. We had some apps and they were only ok. They need t9 step it up if they are planning to compete with the other restaunts in Sono.

    While the all-over experience was good, the service was not. VERY slow! AND, the restaurant was almost empty! Waited 15 minutes for 3 cups of coffee and 3 desserts. We were a party of 12. One person's lunch came about 10 minutes after the rest of us were served! Would I go there again? Probably not. The menu for lunch is not great!
