Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in the heart of an old listed building that once housed the King’s Coachmakers on Bedford Street. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's).

Food and service were good or very good but the place is way too loud Also despite a rather “small” offering ,some cuts were not available 😖

Excellent food and service. A very friendly restaurant. When we arrived, the music was rather loud, but our table was in the corner, so it was not an issue. However, it could have been turned down.

If you eat alone, they will kick you out after an hour telling you because other people are waiting. I thought the reservation mentions 1 hour and 45 minutes time for reservation less than three. For special treatment for reservation for one, they can state in policy.

Service was left wanting. It was a long wait to get service during the meal. The food was good and consistent.

The food was ice cold, vegetables were burnt and Yorkshire was overcooked. Very disappointing as I have recommended this place to countless others- only to return to this!
