Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    Blacklock rarely disappoints. Took a member of my team here to celebrate their exam successes. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good.

    Absolutely Bloody Brilliant! This is now my 2nd visit and the Service / Food is incredible. Best Sunday Roast you will find.

    Not a lot to say really apart from great food, excellent service and all at very reasonable prices. Needless to say we all had a very enjoyable lunch and will be back....when we can get booked in!

    We went on a Saturday evening and had an incredible time. The service was first class, food was really tasty and we left very full and very happy. The chops are of course excellent, but don’t dismiss the burger which was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had, and leave room for the light as air cheesecake. Brilliant stuff.
