Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    As always Blacklock delivers, first time for a Sunday roast and at a different restaurant, yet it's the same high quality and the staff are just as friendly and attentive.

    Another great Sunday roast! Brought my family for the first time in London and Dermot took such great care of us. Food was delicious, stuffed at the end and got a small taster of cheesecake for my sisters. Thank you!

    The best Sunday roast I have had in London, highly recommend, delicious as was the Blacklock beer. Next time in London we will be back.

    Staff were all awesome, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Was dining solo and was worried it would feel a bit awkward but staff really put me at ease. Non alcoholic cocktail was refreshing and tasted great. Had the roast beef, the portion was huge and everything was as close to perfect as possible.

    The food is a meat lover’s dream, the ambience is cozy and the booth we were sat at was comfortable which was very important for us! Staff were pleasant throughout the entire experience and even before. We were running 15 minutes late and they were super understanding. We ordered 3 All in’s and one steak sarnie so they very kindly included a 4th round of pre chop bites on the house! The cheesecake is the perfect finish to a fantastic meal😊
