   Visited for my birthday the waiter I had absolutely amazing very friendly but other members of staff weren’t so great me and a group of friends had already eaten at at previous places that day so when we arrived at Blacklock the group I was with had already eaten so didn’t want to order much only two of us ordered mains and the rest ordered sides there was 5 of us someone who wasn’t out waiter came up and asked so is everyone eating who’s actually eating because the person I was with was drinking a coke not purchased in blacklock and I feel he came over to interrogated us and implied that we all just came here to sit here in a very passive aggressive tone

   What an incredible experience we had at Blacklock, the service was phenomenal and the food was incredible. Definitely one of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had. Would definitely come back again

   The mean, chips and Blacklock sauce are absolutely wonderful! Champagne bottles also reasonably priced and good NV choices!

   Nice steaks and nice desserts. Restaurant has a good atmosphere with a couple of birthday parties taking place.

   We arrived slightly early and were welcomed and shown to a table quickly. The drinks order was taken after about 5minutes but we waited a while for food to be ordered. We waited at least 30 minutes for food to arrive but a server did apologize for the wait and the food was good.

   Absolutely fabulous, fantastic service and the rib eye steak was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

   As usual - a great meal. This is by far the most consistent steak restaurant. I’ve visited many times now and never disappointed. Even back tomorrow for an anniversary meal!

   Great service, food, wine and value, dinner was £480 between 5 of us for 3 courses and a lot of wine. Skip the bites which in my opinion are not worth it, and go straight for the pigs head to start. Wow. Thanks for a great evening

    We really enjoyed our first Blacklock experience. Very tasty food and a homely atmosphere with friendly relaxed service. We had the all in, the beef dripping chips were the best my partner has ever had and the slaw was delicious. Plenty of meat, well cooked and good quality. The flat bread was soaked in the meat juice and was totally yum! Thanks for a great afternoon
