   This was our third visit to Blacklock. The mushroom on toast was amazing. My husband really liked the pig's head on toast. We had steak. Mine was fillet steak. It was very difficult to cut and very chewy - the manage came over and said she will let the kitchen know and took it off our bill. The chips were amazing. Also, the Broccoli and walnut side dish was very different - lovely fresh taste. The service was amazing - our server was very knowledgeable about the food and wine and very attentive. We'll be back soon

   As regular Blacklock diners we were disappointed with our recent visit. We arrived to be told they were running late and couldn’t seat us for reservation. Told to sit at the bar where we weren’t served - all stations seemed understaffed. Took 25 mins to get to our table and we still couldn’t order a drink. Food quality was good as usual but portion sizes seemed reduced (e.g 2 slices of meat for the roast bulked with half a plate of cabbage). It might be time to find a new go-to restaurant!

   Blacklock is seriously one of the best roasts around. We have tried three of their restaurants now and it’s epic every time!

    Great service, food very good for price. They gave us the pre bites on the house because it was our first time there which was cool Would go back and do recommend for a mid budget great meal and service
