   I booked a table today for my boyfriend birthday. We tried this restaurant for the first time and we left quite happy. It was quite busy but service was perfect, food arrived really fast, meat was perfectly cooked as requested. Overall, everything from starter to dessert was really tasty. Definitely we will come back soon.

   Waited 50 minutes for a single piece of steak and it's not even that good. The waiter said it should take 30 to 35 minutes but 50 minutes is actually making me very mad because I just need 10 minutes to eat it. It'such a waste of time if you tell me you need that long I wouldn't walk in. While another table that ordered a plateful of meat got it way faster and they even came after me. Never go back again. I actually don't wanna pay the service fee at all but my waitress did nothing wrong, it was the kitchen, so I paid. But I was very angry. You can’t just make someone wait that long on a Monday lunchtime. The restaurant is not even full of people. Either hire more staff or shut it down and leave the place for other restaurants that can do the job. I hate you. I was hungry and angry and feel neglected.

   Love it. Went for Sunday lunch and amazing. Went for the sharer which was more than enough for all. Only criticism I have is the noise level. There was a rowdy table which made it difficult to hear others on my table

   The food was lovely but I prefer my meat not so pink other than that it was all round lovely Our waitress very polite and friendly and good at her job

   The noise level was intolerable. My wife had to leave after she had eaten half of her run of the mill hamburgerl. She coul stand the noise no longer. My sirloin on the bone eventually came without me chips or Bernaise sauce. The waiter too did not know his job. While my steak was excellent, we shall not be going again.

   Visited for my birthday the waiter I had absolutely amazing very friendly but other members of staff weren’t so great me and a group of friends had already eaten at at previous places that day so when we arrived at Blacklock the group I was with had already eaten so didn’t want to order much only two of us ordered mains and the rest ordered sides there was 5 of us someone who wasn’t out waiter came up and asked so is everyone eating who’s actually eating because the person I was with was drinking a coke not purchased in blacklock and I feel he came over to interrogated us and implied that we all just came here to sit here in a very passive aggressive tone

   What an incredible experience we had at Blacklock, the service was phenomenal and the food was incredible. Definitely one of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had. Would definitely come back again

    The mean, chips and Blacklock sauce are absolutely wonderful! Champagne bottles also reasonably priced and good NV choices!
