Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

    Excellent quality of food and sides, really vey tasty (well cooked and seasoned). The place was a bit dark, rumbling (trains) and noisy. Service was good. Outside London £27 buys a lot more meat !

    Second time going here on a Sunday this year, no less amazing than the first. Service as ever was great, fast and to a high standard. Our server (didn’t catch his name) was very knowledgeable and imparted a number of facts and info about the food and location. Food was absolutely great as usual. We’ll be back again later this year for sure.

    Very busy restaurant with a lot of guests so quite noisy however the tables are spaced well. Surprisingly easy to hear each other. Service was very good. Food came in large portions and was good, but too salty for my taste.

    We visited yesterday for a date day which is very rare for us and we travelled from Basildon just to eat here. The food was very lovely however during out meal 2 very loud women was seated next to us even though there were other tablets available. This spoilt it for us as it made me uncomfortable with how close they were seated next to us and the fact they were very loud.

    I read about Blacklock reviews which were highly rated and decided to give it a go. The 4 of us were welcomed well. We went for all in platter which was delicious. We had 2 lamb chops and 2 beef chops each with chips fried in beef dripping. Service was great. Waiters were so helpful and polite. Just a kind suggestion the meat was slightly on the warm side rather than hot but that's about it. It was well seasoned till the bone. Desserts and cocktails were 100%. Keep up the good work and please don't drop your standards. I am definitely recommending Blacklock to others and will more than likely going pay another visit!!

    Went for our son’s 16 birthday and mentioned on booking. Restaurant didn’t do anything, so lost a star for that. A candle in his dessert would have been sufficient!
