Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

    We had a really enjoyable evening here. the food was excellent, and very good value compared with other London steakhouses. Nice selection of wine on tap too. Great atmosphere, and lovely staff - highly recommended.

    Our server was very attentive and nice. She explained the menu to us and how much she recommend for weight and courses. The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, I will definitely be coming back for more steak here!

    I’m a vegetarian myself but wanted to treat my partner (who loves meat) to Blacklock. He had the porterhouse and while expensive, he said it was the best steak he’s ever had. Not a lot of vegetarian options but that’s to be expected! Cauliflower was still lovely. Staff were amazing, attentive and really nice. Great experience - partner said steak blew Hawksmoor out of the water!

    Blacklock is generally one of my favourite chains in London but today was the first time I went for their roast. We got All-In (Beef/Pork/Lamb) which is served on a giant platter. The beef and pork were highlights but all was lovely. For sure the best roast I've had out in London and good for the value. Including drinks and some starters for the table you're looking at around £50 per head.

    They team is always a pleasure. The roast was exceptional and the drinks perfect. My fav Bloody Mary now

    The food was lovely, and so was the service. Only one slight complaint was that it seemed very dark in the restaurant. I would 100% go back again - this weekend if I could!!

    The steak was cooked perfectly - I’ve never seen anything like it. The chop sauce is incredible and the service was phenomenal.

    Excellent quality of food and sides, really vey tasty (well cooked and seasoned). The place was a bit dark, rumbling (trains) and noisy. Service was good. Outside London £27 buys a lot more meat !
