Black Cow Chop House is an outstanding steak house. I am overjoyed that this restaurant opened in Charlottesville, which is starving for good steakhouses. This place is one of the best I’ve been to. GO.

Another amazing meal at Black Cow. This time I tried the lobster mac and cheese. It’s sold as a shareable side - but it’s more than enough for a meal. Oh and it’s absolutely fantastic. The crab cakes, which I’ve had in the past, are also fantastic. Yes, they are known for their steaks - and the steaks are super delicious and tender - but it’s also a great place for seafood.

We were able to experience the Japanese Wagyu cooked to absolute perfection and the filet was also delicious. All 3 desserts were great: key lime, crème brûlée, and chocolate mousse. The service was top notch.
