Beautiful dinning room and view. Very quiet, hardly any diners! Very enjoyable evening with special friends. Halibut was a little too spicy, which was a shame if you don't care to have your fresh halibut that way. Ask for bread, it is a very nice focaccia.

Black Butte Ranch is a beautiful place to dine with magnificent views and excellent service. Since the tables are spread out, it’s easy to have a private conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was good but not as good as 2 years ago when we were there last time. It was fine but not outstanding.

We love this restaurant as we have eaten there multiple times in the last few years. This was not the experience we've come to expect. Our server appeared to be stretched a little thin (perhaps she was training new staff at the same time ?). The one thing that is a little disappointing is the menu hasn't substantially changed in the last 12 months or more. It would be better if new dishes were rotated in from time to time.

Overall experience was ok. We were seated immediately after arrival. After being seated we waiting almost 15-20 minutes before a waitress finally brought us waters and said the bartender will be here shortly to take our orders. At that some the bartender was slammed but there were waitress's standing around doing nothing. Finally ordered drinks and our food. Drinks were awsome. My wife ordered scallops and I had the steak. My wife's scallops were tuff in the middle. My food was perfect.

We had an amazing meal. From cocktails to dessert, everything was fantastic. Our server took great care of us and did an outstanding job. The view from our seats was breathtaking. We will be back.

After having multiple meals at the lodge, this new brunch buffet set up is the best experience we’ve had. The food was delicious, fast serve and an amazing value. Please continue!

The menu is terrible….can’t get a steak, fries, pasta, burger. The menu starts with “octopus”….how pretentious is that!!! Had a Caesar salad that was a bunch of lettuce, croutons with NO flavor, and no Parmesan cheese….just a bowl of lettuce….NO FLAVOR! We will NOT be eating here again until the menu reflects the likes of those who live on the ranch…DO A FOCUS GROUP BEFORE MAKING MENU CHANGES!!!!!!!
