   We ate at Black Haus for Mother’s Day brunch. The restaurant was not busy when we were seated, but did pick up after about 45 minutes. It took us nearly an hour to get our food. When we got our meals, the eggs were cold on each plate. My son and I got eggs Benedict (the eggs were solid and the hollandaise sauce was room temp/cold) and my husband had eggs over hard. The server asked for the kitchen to make new meals for us and it took another 25-30 minutes to receive. We understood it was a busy day and we took that into consideration while we waited patiently and enjoyed a couple of drinks. It was frustrating, however, that our food took that long when we saw tables seated after us get their food and leave in the time it took for us to get our meals.

   Overall the food was great. Only issue is was the kitchen took 30 minutes to get our food (mostly burgers). Understand that we were there on a Friday. Overall the food was great and our table service was excellent.

   Dinner was delicious! Our waitress helped our grandson celebrate his 14th birthday with us! We really enjoyed the meal, service and family time!

   Have been wanting to try for a long time. Always looks packed and has outdoor seating. Our experience is not at all what I imagined or hoped for. Food was meh at best, I've been to better diners, not worth the price. Our party ordered beer that was warm, and our cocktails were watered down. For the price, the ambience wasn't anything special and the interior could use a remodel. Service was ok. I expected so much more and won't be returning.

   Attended a Scotch tasting dinner. Food pairing was outstanding with the Scotch. Salmon crostini, beef patsy, and pork loin dishes were all outstanding.
