Outstanding food, I had the short ribs, my wife had the grilled salmon. Waitress was fun and attentive, owner dropped in to ensure we were having a good time. Open air dining across from the park at sunset was a nice touch. Dessert was great as well!
So many great gluten free and vegan options. Neither of which I need or typically order but the flavors of everything were so amazing you’d never know the difference! The owner was buzzing around the restaurant the entire time we dined and even ran our food, she was very kind and willing to chat even though she was clearly busy. I’ll be back whenever I get a chance.
Great food and nice portions during restaurant week. The only issue I had was that the noise level was a bit much but it could have been folks were excited to be out and about for a nice day. Drinks are nice and strong and food is comfy.
Nice, local restaurant in downtown Parker - went there for Denver restaurant deal where you get a 3 course fixed price dinner. The food was excellent - we ordered the brussel sprout appetizer to go along with the two fixed price dinners, and all the dishes were superb. They also have an extensive wine list, with wines you rarely see in most restaurants (far niente, nickel & nickel). That's the good news. The bad news is the noise level was intolerable in the back dining room - we had to shout across the table at times. This was not the pleasant, relaxing experience we were looking for, especially given the amount we paid for dinner. Service was also good, with the exception of being given a dirty wine glass, which I noticed after pouring an expensive Cabernet. The server just plopped a new glasses on the table without offering to replace the wine. Overall, I'd go back just for appetizers and a drink.
Great food and atmosphere!! So glad to see a great restaurant go into this prime location in Parker. We will be back!
Great food. Fast service - even on a busy Friday night. Great experience.
Great selection of Bourbon. Steak sandwich was delicious. Limited meal selection, but they do have a kids menu. Very busy, so expect service to be somewhat slow if you're in a hurry.
Friendly staff, great food, excellently stocked bar that turns out some amazing cocktails.
Black House Burger was fantastic!
Good food and good potential but the glass of wine was a really small pour. Portions we not very big which is fine for me but not my husband and son. They had music in the background but all you heard was the thumb of the base in the music and nothing else. If they can tweak a few things it would be a great place.
Great find.....great food, service! Table wait (even with reservation) so we ate at the bar, but was just fine. I had the ribeye with chimichurri and was fantastic. My wife had the cauliflower steak - good! Will be back and happy to recommend highly!
Food was fantastic. Server was slightly overwhelmed. No one celebrated our birthday.
It’d been a long week of work and parenting. My wife and I wanted to enjoy a Sunday afternoon to ourselves. We’d looked around on OpenTable for somewhere local to try.
The pictures for BlackHaus were intriguing enough for us to try it out. Luckily, we were able to reserve a table for the evening.
It wasn’t busy when we got there so we were able to get right in.
Once seated and scanning the menu, we decided on our drinks. Pomegranate Cider and an Old Fashioned. The waiter let me know that the smoke smell that was in the air was from the bar and they could smoke my Old Fashioned if I wanted. I’d never had a smoked drink, so I gladly accepted the offer.
Both drinks were good. The smoke in the Old Fashioned added another level of complexity to an already great drink.
Our starter of polenta fries came out next. What a delicious way to start the meal. Nice and tasty, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. The bacon jam and garlic chimichurri included with the fries; I COULD DRINK CUPS OF THEM. Not sure if they’re made on site or it’s purchased but I’d never had them.
Dinner was the filet and Scotch salmon pasta. The steak was cooked perfectly to the temp my wife asked for. Perfectly seasoned with just some salt and pepper. It also came with chimichurri. Her side of crispy cauliflower was pretty flipping tasty too. I wanted to take that from her. 😊
My pasta was yum too. When I scooped it up, at first, I thought that it wouldn’t be because I’m used to thicker sauces. I was wrong. The sauce had so many different layers of flavor to it.
My wife doesn’t really like salmon. As a testament to how good it was, she was stealing the fish out of my plate.
To finish the night off, I ordered another drink. An apple crisp. It’s the only thing I wasn’t a fan of that we tried. It tasted good; it was more of a textural issue. Apple pieces weren’t great in a cold beverage. That drink feels like something that might taste better hot in a mug.
It was a good night!
Atmosphere and service were fine but the quality of the food was not good.
So many delicious choices, including some naturally low-cal options for the dieters in our group. Cauliflower and broccoli choices were excellent.
Service and food were top notch!
Will be back for sure!
Food and service were wonderful! Even though we were in a booth it was a little difficult to hear. But I will go back!
Excellent as always. Pork Belly appetizer was outstanding! Service was fantastic. Looking forward to summer cocktails out on the patio.
Apathetic waitress. Decent food. Bad wine. Great location
This was our second time at Black+Haus. Their apps are great, especially the cauliflower! The wait staff friendly. This is the second time I have ordered a salad and been underwhelmed though. The tomato salad wasn't very good, especially at the price. I had the steak salad last time and it was just ok.
Great location and food, staff is very nice!
Excellent food, great service.
First time. We had read the reviews and had high expectations. Did not disappoint. Recommend the blistered peppers and the habanero jelly
The restaurant was so crowded it made us very nervous. If we had not already been vaccinated we would have left. The food was ok but not great.
The food was delicious - - inventive without being ridiculous. Nice sized portions. Lovely service. It was a bit loud, but otherwise a great find in our new home town of Parker, CO
Although the food was very tasteful, I have a hard time justifying $35 for a steak in bar.
The menu is lacking choices. Either high priced steak, or burgers.
it was ok, not exciting and not bad. Kind of a place you go when your favorite places are packed
Great newer restaurant in downtown Parker - highly recommended.
Very pleased with entire experience. Food, waitress, and table were best we have eaten in a long time. Waitress steered me correct with temperature of my salmon. I had no idea!
Great food, great location and great service. I recommend this restaurant.
Great food and good service
Ordered Hot Italian Sandwich. It was “way” overcooked. The meat inside was more like Jerky than anything. Literally this sandwich was extremely dry and tasteless. Fries were good however.
New to this restaurant. Found all the staff wearing their mask correctly except for the adult male bartenders. At times the masks were on their chins. I mentioned it to our server and the best they could do was to tell the bartenders and they moved their mask up but it didn’t cover their nose. Enjoyed our meal but was very bothered by the inconsistency of mask wearing by a very limited amount of staff.
We went with another couple for dinner. Everything was great as always food drinks...
Great food ! Center cut filet was cooked to perfection! Drink selection was incredible.
I want this restaurant to be successful, however you cannot charge these prices for food that you have cut corners on. Meat cold, soft croutons on salads that seem to be prepared a day before. Try harder in the kitchen, great service!
The meals were fabulous as was the service. You must try the brussels sprouts!! I had the filet and my husband had the salmon and both were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, atmosphere and wait staff was very attentive.
