Food was excellent, not an everyday typical Indian cuisine, but a well distinct cuisine style “Avadh/Lucknow style - flavorful, and meets the palate decadently, this was a big plus. Service was great, even though the place was packed we were seated within 5 to 7 mins of our reservation time. The only one big negative is that it’s a very small place and gets loud when it’s packed especially with a large group during dinner times. I would have enjoyed my dinner had it been a bit quitter.

Overall the food lacked flavour. The chaat was flavourless and overpriced. The masala fish fingers were ok. The veg biryani was over powered with cardamom/elichi and no other flavour. The saag paneer was bland, full of cream (not mentioned on the menu), the roti was ok and paratha was thick and chewy. Service was good enough. The male server told us not to choose one the chapatis as it was out of the packet?!? Drink are again overpriced, but it’s soho, so I suppose they’ve got rents to pay! Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Excellent food in a cozy place. I really enjoyed the biryani and a couple of great sides. Very attentive service. Be sure to book ahead...it's not a big place and all the tables were full!
