BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Lubbock
Our server Mordicai was great. The food was cold and bar service was slow and bad. We chose your restaurant for a birthday celebration. May choose somewhere else next time.
Made a reservation and showed up ten minutes before our reservation. The hostess said "it'll be about an hour wait" I said we made a reservation and she gave me a blank look and shrugged her shoulders. Not too sure what the point of a reservation is at that point but wasn't impressed with the hospitality of their front of the house staff.
Noise lever due to TTU playing in the NCAA. Menu offer many interesting choices. We ordered an appetizer, salad, and main meal. Unfortunately the appetizer, the salad was served three minutes later, followed by the main dish in less than an additional five minutes. No way could we enjoy the meal and company. Service should be paced appropriately to allow the guests to enjoy the meal and company.
Always enjoy BJ’s no matter what city. Made reservation, checked in asking about giving our rewards number. Big mistake that hostess did not put info on slip; waitress never asked. When paid we asked about our points, the waitress and manager took approximately 30 min and he gave us a slip with our food price less tip showing a negative and he could not explain AND WE TIPPED USUAL 20%! Left us with bad taste experience.
Very disappointing with this BJS. I reserved a table for 8 people to celebrate 2 graduates and we waited 45 minutes until being seated. We had followed the rule of showing up 15 minutes early and the hostess told us reservations are just like putting your name on the list and that we have an hour wait. We asked to speak to the manager after 30 minutes and he told us that BJs does not take reservations - however, I called him a week prior to ensure that our reservation was set. We were not compensated or apologized too. Do not waste your time making a reservation - you will still wait like normal.
