We arrived approximately 10 minutes early for our reservation but were seated immediately. We received our beverages and appetizer in short order and were allowed to enjoy it before we placed our dinner order. I ordered the sirloin, while my husband ordered the Prime Rib special. My sirloin could have been seasoned while being cooked but was cooked exactly as requested. My husband was told they had no Prime Rib or Pork Chop specials after he had ordered. He was told the prime Rib was still being cooked but the manager decided to serve it to my husband. It wasn’t the medium he had asked for, but the server took it back to the kitchen to have it cooked to medium (was still not medium but my husband was able to eat it). It was a various portion and it reheated perfectly the next evening. We made reservations for the following Sunday (Fathers Day). Our only complaint would be we definitely would like to have BJ’s come to the Mishawaka, Indiana location because the nearly 2 hour drive is too far to be a regular customer.

There was a cheer competition in town and the servers were swamped. The restaurant seemed unprepared. They were out of many items. When our food came out, the sweet potato fries were cold. Our server did a great job, she was very helpful and apologetic for delays.

It was Mother's Day... and the place was packed. Hence, it was noisier than normal. Our server, Tatiana, more than made up for it! My sposeandI shared the prime rib, which was served quickly by a kitchen runner. Food was fully cooked and delicious, but it could have been warmer. Again, it was Mother's Day. Desert was great, and Mom was happy with the whole experience.

Generally my experience has been pretty good here. This visit however it took almost an hour to get our food, and no updates were ever provided by server. Once we all received our food, my burger was on the dry side, like maybe it had been under heat lamps for awhile.

Service was disappointing. Forgot our appetizer and had no excuse. Waited 30 minutes for entree’s at 8 pm. Restaurant was half filled. Waitress was never around. We had to request water refills. Waitress was more concerned with flirting with someone at another table. We just never seem to have a good experience at this restaurant. We want to like it but they make it hard. Maybe we’ll try it again in 6 months or maybe not.

I know they were busy as it was a Saturday and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it ended up being some of the wirst service I've ever had. One of our plates was "stolen" so it didn't come out with the rest of the food. Our food came out tasting like it sat for a while and I watched out server have an almost 15 minute conversation with her friends 1 table over while we were waiting for our food. Then just the quick mention of the missing food, but no sorry or discount or even a manager checking in after a mess up like that. I take my girls out like once every 4 months like this and was really hoping for a better experience than this. I normally love this place, but was really left unimpressed and disappointed this time.

Restaurant is one large open room with nothing to break up the reflecting noise from the whole room so it was quite loud to the point where you had to yell to be heard across the table at times. Food and drinks were very expensive, even by the standards of the 'new normal' with a modest sized pasta dish costing $20 and sandwiches and burgers costing only a couple of bucks less. Food quality was hit or miss. The broccoli cheddar soup was clumpy and gelatinous like it was frozen and only just heated up, but not quite enough. The boneless wings were literally cold and had a weird texture like they were cooked then refrigerated but weren't microwaved long enough. Ziti dish had a very rich sausage that had some grislily chunks in it that you don't expect in that sort of meat. Burger and chicken sandwich were enjoyed by the kids that ordered them. Appetizers were good, if a bit small for what you pay for. Kids' chicken tenders were enjoyed as were the fruit and fries that came with them. We were celebrating a birthday for an 11 year old and were not offered a happy birthday serenade, which was disappointing. At the end of the night we ordered 3 'pizookies.' One got comped because it was a birthday, which is a nice thing to do. They were out of regular size of one of the flavors we ordered. They substituted 2 of the 'mini' size for the 1 regular size. The mini is about half the diameter and about half the price. Price-wise, that's about even. But, as anyone who recalls high school geometry class would tell you it takes nearly 4 times as many things with half the diameter to get the same surface area. We weren't given a choice or informed until they were dropped at our table then our server scattered, never to be seen again. It was a very disappointing end to a disappointing dining experience.
