   We were greeted effusively but had to wait a little for our table, however the maître d' was always in communication with us by offering us choices on tables. The ambiance is really fascinating with the 1940s architectural design. The service was terrific and the food was absolutely delicious. It was quite loud but that’s okay. All in all a wonderful evening. Thank you!

   Great spot for my wife's birthday. Lovely place, great drinks, fun atmosphere, it feels special in a way that far too many 300$ nights do not, these days. Will absolutely come back.

   I hadn't had the pleasure of dining at Bix since before the pandemic. It is a very beautiful place with cocktails, wine, a menu, and service to match.

   Food is always good but the service was rushed. Felt like they were trying to turn the table and we were out within 1.5 hours tops.

   Excellent Old World style food and service! Highlights were the crab rolls and the potato pillow appetizers. All the dishes were nicely prepared. The NY strip steak and the pork chop were tender, cooked perfectly and generously portioned (each entree enough for 2 people). The truffle dry-aged beef burger was very tasty and the pommes frites were crispy (just the way we like it). Wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. Nice comfortable decor but the piped in music was very loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation without yelling. Noise level improved after 7 pm when the live jazz music started and the bar scene calmed down. Would definitely come back!

   Another excellent meal at Bix! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. It’s nice to see this classic SF dining spot thriving.

   We had a delightful dinner. It was the perfect place to celebrate our friends’ birthdays with the wonderful piano music played in the background and the dreamy atmosphere. Food was excellent, wine list was complete and reasonable and the service was efficient and friendly. We’ll be back for sure!
