   The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. While it is on the pricey side, I'm uncertain if the cost justifies the experience. Perhaps more variety in the side dishes would help, though that’s a minor concern. Overall, it was a delightful meal, and we will definitely return.

   Do yourself a favor and skip this place if any of the following matter to you: 1.You value conversation at the table. The noise level is extremely high, and the acoustics are poor—making it nearly impossible to talk without raising your voice. 2.You’re vegetarian. There are no real vegetarian entrées. My daughter was served a spoonful of mashed potatoes and four asparagus stalks—for which we were charged $24. 3.You’re looking for good value. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the price. It was far from memorable. 4.You’re expecting a pleasant dining experience with live jazz. While live music was advertised, the setup wasn’t suitable for the space. The music was far too loud for the intimate setting, and we had to shout just to hear each other.

   It's really all about the atmosphere at Bix. We had our wedding reception there 25 years ago so it has a place in my heart. The food is good, some very good, but none of it amazing. But the room is. It is a beautiful, sophisticated space -- timeless. Our server was excellent, too.

   Service was fantastic. Food was excellent. Our server was go above and beyond for my request to make sure no garlic and onions for my order.

   Wonderful dinner for my husband’s birthday! Our waiter Kent was just wonderful - really pleasant personality, very helpful with menu decisions, and watchful during the meal without being intrusive. Love the ambiance with the beautiful mural above the bar and the elegant decor!

   Biz is always special. The room, the piano and singer, the staff. But they're downgrading ingrédients to keep margins high and it shows. Ground beef patty $45?!? Two deviled eggs $16?! Burger with sad lettuce and onions for $40? And an inedible rice pudding soaked in olive oil ? Go for the space but keep food expectation low.

    The pianist and saxophonist were a nice accompaniment to dinner. Our only comment is that perhaps the speaker/amp is a bit loud. Softer would be more welcome to enjoying both conversations and their musical talents. Overall we had an amazing experience.
