My husband and I enjoyed this experience very much for restaurant week. The restaurant was absolutely packed yet the service was good! We were seated in a side room with butterfly art, it was quiet and intimate in there - nice to be away from the main dining room. Sebastian, our waiter, was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. The foie gras and escargot were excellent. Flavorful, yet the quality of ingredients shined through beautifully. The rabbit and duck, also excellent! The house sorbets and ice cream, and the creme puff pastry were amazing. Drinks were great. No complaints from neither my husband nor myself!
Great place, Great staff and awesome food.
Cocktails were awesome. Good drinks.
Rabbit and Trout for the main course were amazing !!
House Rose was not great for us.
Other than that - loved the place snd would highly recommend it!
Very French reminded me of when I lived in Paris.
The beet gnocchi was amazing. And our server was perfect.
What a consistently wonderful French dining experience. Great specials (chilled cantaloupe soup, foie gras) supplement a solid array of French classics. Service was prompt, warm and very professional. Wine list was well curated and reasonable for the quality. Just a solid wonderful neighborhood place or worthy destination dining.
Charming, romantic, authentic French bistro. Feels like you’re walking into a bistro in Paris, from the traditional yellow colouring to the small elegant bar. Food is excellent too. And great selection of cocktails, digestifs, kir royale, and other classic drinks. Service was also wonderful- friendly and knowledgeable
It was very good but the portions were much larger than the waiter suggested. Also, I found the menu too limited. A few more choices would have been welcome.
Wonderful neighborhood Bistro with the most accommodating staff. They were helpful with libations and the food is spot on. You would think you are in Paris. You can also witness the great sinkhole of Bainbridge. It’s a new Philadelphia must see✌️
This was an anniversary dinner, and my wife and I could not have had a better dinner experience. Beautiful ambience, delicious food, excellent service, and a special anniversary touch with our dessert. Highly recommend.
Everything about our dining experience, most especially the fabulous food was perfect
Love this restaurant, my only regular repeat place in Philadelphia
I was very disappointed. I have been a loyal customer of Bistrot La Minette since 2009 - shortly after they opened. I know that times are tough now for all restaurants for staffing, but over an hour to get appetizers is beyond. After about 45 minutes, and we didn't complain, knowing of staffing problems, our waiter came to the table, vaguely apologized and said that his computer had crashed when he put in the order (duh! does he think we were born yesterday!) and that our appetizers would be out in 5 minutes. A good 15 minutes later they arrived. The food was good as usual, although the pork roast for one guest looked incredibly dry and had probably been sitting under the warming lights for a long time. Again, the guest said it was fine but it was clear that it was very dry. Not worth complaining because who knew how long it would take to get more! The rabbit was excellent as always but I wish they would give a little more of the excellent sauce. For my money their Mille Feuilles are the best anywhere for dessert.
Outstanding food and fantastic service as always!!!!
Always a great choice for a French Bistro experience. Consistent and wonderful for years!
We have had the pleasure of dining at numerous French restaurants here and abroad. This was an exceptional experience! The ambience set the tone for the meal. The presentation and taste of the escargot was both singular and delightful. The entree and dessert matched that beginning to perfection. The service was under stated but top notch professional. A must for our next visit to Philadelphia and should be on every visitors list.
Wonderful meal, great service and romantic ambiance make this restaurant a ‘must go again’. This was our second time in more than a year… we have been missing out! Salad Verte and the duck were superb… also the pork loin stuffed with figs! Go and enjoy a little piece of Paris!
Wow. BLM is truly at the top of their game. Been coming here since they opened over 10 years ago and this was the best meal I’ve had - and the bar was pretty high already. The cantaloupe soup was simply stunning. The fig stuffed pork exceptionally done. Kudos to Chef.
I consider Bistrot La Minette one of the real gems of Philadelphia dining. Outstanding French food in a bistro atmosphere, Edith Piaf plays in the background, the service is attentive, and the wine list has outstanding choices at extremely fair prices by restaurant standards. I look forward to every single visit. If you are really lucky, Richard will be your waiter when you go.
Our dinners, everything and everyone were absolutely spectacular. Thank you.
Always outstanding! Tonight, the use of bettraves in the gnocchi dish and summer salad was brilliant!
The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. Not to mention, our waitress was super attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!
A neighborhood treasure. This restaurant is what I tell people about when they ask what is good in Queen Village.
It was a wonderful experience, start to finish. The only downside was a guest two tables away who was so loud, we could hardly hear our own conversation.
We were so happy to dine here again! Food and service were outstanding as always!
Fantastic meal one of my all time favorites in the city!
TL/DR- DINE HERE. This was my first visit. I miss Paris and was traveling to Philly so I did some research and was lucky enough to find La Minette. We were greeted warmly at the door by our waiter, Richard, who was delightful all evening. Every recommendation he made from apps to wine to dessert was spot on. Perfect service. The food was everything I hoped it would be and more. Foie gras, chilled melon soup, lobster salad, fisherman's eggs and mille-feuille were amazing. Sounds cliche, but truly was like stepping into a Parisian bistro. Prices are appropriate for the quality and experience. Serving sizes are accurate for European food- this isn't a Hoss's, people. Pacing of dinner was excellent. Ditch the conglomerate on Rittenhouse and come here! You won't be sorry.
Absolutely amazing food and drinks. Warm and thoughtful service
We had truly amazing snails, very very good cocktails pork and chicken platters
A very classy place with terrific food and drink. The waiter was charming, kind and helpful. The cook is obviously fantastic.
This has been a long time favorite, and it did not disappoint. The menu is still covid-challenged, but there is plenty to like.
Best food in the city
We love everything about this restaurant. But the service puts it over the top -- kind and knowledgeable. We have many lovely memories from this restaurant and hope to have many more.
Bistrot La Minette never disappoints. The food is always delicious and service is always great.
I visit Philly annually and Bistrot La Minette is simply my favorite restaurant in the city. I keep going back expecting to be at least a little disappointed - hasn't happened yet!
The meal was just outstanding. Chef really knocked it out of the park. We shared the lobster salad and we both ordered the duck confit. We then shared the Peach Tartin for desert. Our server recommended a bottle of Rhone Syrah which was magnifique. I've been to Bistro Le Minette at least 40 times since 2010 and every time the food was 4 star occasionally and 5 star usually, but the 3 dishes we had last night were absolutely perfect. We sat outside and the weather cooperated. The ambience of a quiet street due to a recent water main break added to the experience. Our server was outstanding in all aspects as was the rest of the staff. The vibe was almost pre-pandemic and for that we were grateful.
Very nice restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was very good. Only thing was the building was hot, but it was 98 outside.
Always a wonderful meal! A very romantic setting.
After far too long, what a delight to be able go out for dinner at Bistro La Minette once again!
Nice service and great foods
